Mini Disc Player clearance at CC (YMMV)

CAGiversary!
I don't know if anyone uses these at all but CC has a Sony MZ-NF520D player for 40 bucks. This is an excellent alternative to MP3 players in my opinion. They record at a better quality for playback and the disc are relativly inexpensive, like 6 bucks for a 5 pack. I was able to fit nearly 50 songs on one disc. The player comes with SonicStage and the USB cable, and a suprisingly good pair of headphones. Just figured I'd put this out there for anyone looking for a cheap way to listen to MP3's.

this player doesn't have a built in recorder, it's just a player. but it does have a FM tuner, TV, and Weather Band
how would u get the music into the mini disks?
Via your computer.

Edit: Or a shelf recorder. Or a external mix.

I used to have a minidisc player before I got my Dell DJ. I loved that thing.

The best way to describe it is as a very good quality cassette player/recorder. You can record from pretty much any source including concerts like Kuma stated.
