Moder Warfare 2: 360 or PS3

I'm going to pick up MW2 during TRU's B1G1 50% off this week. However, I'm not sure which console to get it for.

I have a 360 and will get a PS3 for Christmas. All of my friends have 360s and I do prefer the 360 controller for FPS.

However, PS3 has free online and I can get it online at my school (we have this stupid program which prevents all video game systems but the PS3 to connect to the internet).

So, I'd like some advice. Which system should I get it for?

If you post, I'd appreciate a reason why in case I haven't thought of something.

If it matters, I play on a CRT tv in my basement. No fancy set up.

Actually this is one of those games console > PC IMO
Sometimes consoles get a PC port, here PC got a console port

360 IMO, i dont play pc so i can't speak on that.

if you want to play with your friends, then get it for the 360, but i think it's worth the wait to play MW2 on the ps3.

you bring your console to school?
