Modest Mouse

Yes, they are only the best band ever. I've been a fan ever since a friend lent me his cds a few years ago. The lead singer looked nothing like how I imagined based on the sound of his voice.
 
I like a few songs, but I remember my brother being all over their dicks when he got back from some tour they were on with cake and de la soul in seattle.

They always seemed to be pretty popular here.
 
I like them a lot. Although they're one of the only bands I didn't like more after seeing them live. That said, the show was at a bad venue.

I can imagine why.

But yeah, Modest Mouse is awesome. I've been listening to Sad Sappy Sucker a lot lately.
 
I was gonna go to their show last night in Portland, unfortunately the venue hit capacity pretty early (I heard 6:30) and they weren't on til 10.

I only had a wristband so I wasn't guaranteed entry.

BUT I did see Girl Talk on Thursday and that was fucking amazing.
