HOLY fuck! Did anyone see this episode?! I don't really watch the "true life" series, but my sister called me up and said "Isn't that Denise on there?!?" :hot:

.... long story short, I had a friend in high school who married a total douche named Adam. Apparently he's addicted to porn, which is coming between their marriage. They've got 4 kids together and she kicked him out because of his addiction. What's tripping me out is I recognize the place he's staying at (Denise's Dad's house, who has/had a MASSIVE collection of porn :roll: and is literally like 5 minutes from my house) and I'm actually going to give her a call tonight.

This guy is past all help. He keeps talking about some center as his answer, his "miracle", but it feels like he's avoiding the real issue. I really feel sorry for her, as she was a good friend growing up. There's a whole other story behind this as well.

They dated in high school and she actually ended up getting pregnant with his child. Total shotgun marriage. I've seen her in church every now and then and she looks stressed out to no end. He doesn't seem to hold a real job and also doesn't seem to help out with the children. MAN. There but for the grace of God go I.

I thought my friend was bad because he'd grab a few dvds every other month or so, but my ex once told me about a co-worker that admitted he made weekly visits to the porn store on payday to build his collection. I don't get why these people can't use the internet like everyone else? I'll watch more than usual from time to time, but for fuck's sake, trying to go at it more than once a day and the 'muscle' is too sore to even try and enjoy it.

That's because you're choking the mother fucker dead. You're treating your dick like it owes you money and choking it isn't very good. The more evolved use specially designed FRESU RIGHTU or Japanese Flesh Lights which don't have that death grip syndrome and lubricate themselves. All upper class businessmen own them. Where have you been?

lol, i'm pretty sure I know what i'm doing; i've been with girls who have kung-fu grips and I always correct them, it's the 'finishing' move that wears it out.

I think Christie Brinkley's ex-husband takes the prize for worst porn addicition. Wasn't he spending $3,000 a month on porn. I mean...thats a lot of porn. I would think I have a problem if I spent $100 a month on porn...$3,000 however...that is way over the top.

what the hell? it's not like you can use porn like drugs...the physical consequences come much quicker (no pun intended.) A couple times a day for a few days will leave your balls shriveled and bruised. I guess he likes looking at it without beating it....which is weird.

Oh and then there's the whole "YOU'RE fuckING MARRIED TO CHRISTIE BRINKLEY!!" thing. I suppose she looks different than she did in the 90s though.

His problem is that he uses it to escape from his family and his responsibilities. That, coupled with the shame of his addiction and the fact that he's not taking it really seriously makes it very hard to kick.
 
And then I wonder how much of this is the producers telling them to blow shit out of proportion. Got into a discussion with two people who were supposed to be on another True Life episode around a year ago, and to make the episode more of what the audience expected (absolute worst case scenarios to confirm idiotic suspicions), the producer wanted one girl to go start stereotypical bullshit and pretend she was miserable instead of showing she was a happy, normal person. She refused and told them to either deal with what she was (her being normal) or fuck off. They fired her after a week and got someone else for the show. The other girl got so stressed out from the cameras following her, she did end up miserable and snapped at people with self-destructive behavior, and they just filmed that and ran with it.

They were supposed to be in the same episode. One of the fat ones. I looked on the episode list and there's 3-4 of them (wtf)? And most of the topics in general are flat out retarded (I think I saw that one in there too). I'm NuYoRican (wat)? I'm Driving while Black (I didn't realize this was a problem as I've been doing it for almost 10 years now...), I'm in an Interfaith Relationship (can I be on this one too?), I'm in an Interracial Relationship (okay this one is sort of difficult, but also fun pissing people off by doing innapropriate things in public). The point where porn becomes an addiction is when you start paying for it. People must not know how to use the internet very well if they still feel compelled to pay.

Supposely there are some x-rated sites that have interaction like those live cam ones. I never tried those but I can imagine some people paying for those.
