My 360 might be broken and I need an opinion

When I play certain games I get small black dots all over the screen. So far i has only happened on Gears of War and the Bioshock demo. I bought Gears on launch and I just now got the black dots on it last week. I did some research online and it seems like my gpu might be going bad. I doubt its the monitor since NCAA 08 works fine as does any ps3 game,blu ray etc that I play. I was just hoping someone might be able to help out my assumption.

Yea it seems like its gonna die soon, I bought it at Costco so I can just bring it back there and get a new one. I just hope they have the new hdmi premium ones by now. The funny thing about this is this will be my second bad 360 and first one got 3 red lights the day Madden 07 came out now this one is acting up the day before Madden 08. I fear what will happen when Madden 09 comes out.
 
So its official I got 3 red lights today so off to costco I go. Also if the mod wants to you can delete this thread since I know what the problem is.
