Hehe, got back from Blockbuster a few hours ago, after a........shall we say..........interesting experience. So BB is having one of those good old Buy 3 DVDs for $25 now, which means they have a big tent in the parking lot with all of these DVDs in there. So I'm browsing through the titles when this asshole kid from my school comes in with a few of his friends. Now when I say asshole, i mean ASSHOLE! This kid thinks hes the coolest shit ever. He'll key peoples cars(including mine), beat people up, and just be a general asshat(I'm sure you guys have someone like this you know).

So anyway, my friends and I are looking through the movies, and we see the kid(we will refer to him as asshole) pocketing some movies and games. So I go up to the guy out there and whisper to him that the asshole is stealing movies. So the dude calls the cops, and the asshole and his friends start to leave on their bikes(yeah, hes that cool that he doesnt have a car and rides on his bike everwhere!) and the BB dude is like, you gonna pay for those. So the asshole and his friends just ride off real fast. And when the police get there, I proceed to tell them the assholes name and address. I hope that little fucker is sitting in jail tonight. HA! I was pretty happy so I decided to tell you guys this. Enjoy!
 
When I was in middle school, there was a kid like that that I knew.

I wonder what ever happened to him? Jail? Rehab?
 
Kaijufan, believe it or not, me and him used to be pretty good friends. Thats how I know his address.

Yeah, afraid to tell you that you or your friend will probably get beat up or something for doing that....but I hope you don't. There are probably 50 kids in my grade that I'd really like to bust like that.

sometimes im in the mood to tell on somebody and other times im in the mood to just let 'em go....other times im the one getting told on :shock: ....it usually just depends on how slick the bastard thinks he is and how stupid the employees really are
 
Hope that dick gets what he deserves. I'd try to mess with him as much as I can if I were you, especially if he key'd your car. Sucks when people know your address in high school, you never know who could egg your house or something.. ;-) But yea.. Kick his ass man!

Oh I don't know, probally because someone is stealing. Maybe just maybe thats why. Just a guess, in my opinion, but hey, thats just me, it could be something else for all I know.

Oh, if you had a car, and he only has a bike, you should have ran over his bike, and therefore hindered his getaway.

jesus christ...ive seen some of you bitch about people doing the most slightly illegal things and than when someones stealing a shit load of dvds out in the open, you seem to think its okay...whether you would've told or not is one thing, but whether the kid got what was coming to him or not was another...please dont confuse the two
 
nah, nuts to that guy. if the BB employee was gonna make you pay for it or even tell the cops that you stole them, id give up the kid on the bike real quick.

you arent in the crips, or the mafia i can assume, so you didnt make any blood oath not to rat people out.
 
What exactly is wrong with telling a store that someone is stealing?

It's okay when they steal and hurt the stores profits, which in turn, jacks up the prices. :roll:
 
Normally narcing on someone isn't cool, but shit man if some jackass keyed my car and I knew who did it, getting in trouble for stealing some crappy dvd's would be the least of his worries. I would do my absolute best to make his life a living hell. Don't think of it as tattling, think about it was getting revenge on some jack ass who messed with you.
 
Yeah, thanks everyone for supporting my decision. I would have told if someone I didnt know was stealing. Thats just how i am. It was just an added incentive that I didnt like him in the least!

I'll keep you guys updated!
 
Holy shit, if he keyed my car he would have a LOT more problems than being told on for stealing. I'd fuck his day up, every day.

You're lucky you knew who keyed your car, I had my car keyed twice (once a gash from the hood to the trunk) and somebody tried to put some type of glue in my door locks, but ended up getting it down the side of my car. I never found out who did it tho.
 
great work, I knew this type back in HS. And I'm glad you helped bust him. You were correct 100%, anyone who steals some lame ass used dvds should get busted.
 
Honestly it was a cool move on your part, but prosecuting sp,ething like this is nearly imposible, blockbusters theft policy is a lot like the TRU policy where you not guilty unless an employee follows you around the store stealing murchandise. Unless the cops catch them with the games on them not much will happen

Its ok to steal bread to feed your family.
Its not ok to steal DVDs.

Therefore, its not ok to snitch on someone stealing bread, but its ok to tell the store that someones stealing dvd's.

Some of you have bitched at him for snitching him out. Where do you draw the line? Is it not ok to snitch someone out if they're stealing from someones house? Or robbing someone?

I know some of the people that said that are the ones that bitch at people that download roms or music. fucking hypocrites. This is actual STEALING.

Obviously it wouldn't be ok if you were perfectly able to buy them food.

Its the difference between stealing to survive and stealing for fun.
 
I don't know though in the past when I have seen shoplifting I always wagered on how slick of a job they did, if it was real lame like grabbing a cd and putting it in there pockets then thats one thing, but I remember watching a lady steal an entire crib and mattress and going right out the front door and not getting caught and I didn't say anything then. Just because they were slick enough to get a way with it.

Theft is always wrong, period. There is always a way to feed your family, if you're really unable to make money (which is usually lazy, not incapable btw).. then there's welfare, food stamps, soup kitchens, etc.

There is not a single justification for stealing, ever. No matter why you're doing it.. you're taking something you have no right to have. And that would make you a thief.

And to the OP, good job letting the clerk know about the theft.. but don't brag about it.. just take care of business and let it be.

I only "bragged" because the guy is an asshole and I was getting him in trouble.

Okay, well at school today I saw the kid at lunch bragging to all of his friends about all of the DVDs and games that he stole. I just shook my head and walked away.

Then in fourth hour(hes in my fourth hour). He got called to the office. So I ask to go to the bathroom and head down to the office and I see two officers escorting him out of the building! I was pretty happy, and I think we wont be seeing him for awhile!
 
i just felt like using the word "Narc", but anyways if he keyed my car i'd fuck his bike up... or like... let all the air out of his tires, and then when he gets on it an notices the tires are low, i'd jump out of the bushes and kick his ass.
