I think you've got the best (or near the best) you can do within your price range. Although I'm not totally up to date on the hardware scene, I would consider that setup mid-range. It will get the job done for a while, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Just a thought, but $180 for a case w/ an slightly above average PSU is too much IMO. Pick up something a little cheaper case and maybe a little nicer PSU and/or better video card. The case you picked looks really nice. If it is a situation you need a great looking case then maybe it is worth the extra $$$. It is just you are putting money towards something in a case that will never be out of date essentially instead of items like a video card that will be out date.

I agree w/ 52club. That case is using 1/4 of your budget after shipping, which is a little absurd. Unless something about that case is perfect for you and you're dead-set on getting it, I'd shop around more. You can find great cases for ~$100, I recommend Cool Master. I have one with side-loading hard drive bays, coupled with a Seagate 80+ PSU (80+ being a new environmental initiative to use less power, and give off less heat) and it's extremely quiet and cool for a computer.

--Nevermind, it appears the PSU that comes with that case is also an 80+ certified. The cheapest 80+ on Newegg which comes close to 550W is $110, so I take it all back. You're spending roughly $80 on the PSU and $80 on the case, which is much more reasonable.

Same deal I got to save some money on the case. It worked out great for me.

Also this starts tonight at midnight

Newegg is having a sale on their Antec 80+ Power Supplies. Apply code: PSU8028 at checkout to save 20% off of select Antec PSU. Historically, it should work with combos.

Assuming the current prices and shipping stay the same:

Antec Earthwatts 430W Power Supply $60 - 20% - $30 Rebate = $18
Antec Earthwatts 500W Power Supply $55 - 20% = $44
