I really wish I could get in this beta, I signed up on their website but I heard nothing yet, any other way to get in?

Did you sign up recently, like within the last three weeks? There were two invitation systems, and you had to sign up for them separately, IIRC.

Odd thing is on my xp pc this beta works on the vista pc it does not. anyone know why this could be?
