Need Classic Wiimote Controller Help

For some reason, it appears that my classic controller doesn't work with Gamecube games -- any advice as to getting it to work...is there some synching that I should be doing? Thanks!

I don't think it can do that. When you are playing GC games, the machine is only aware of the basic GC configuration--controllers, memory cards, etc.--so it doesn't recognize any Wii specific peripherals. It only works in one direction (i.e., Wii can see GC stuff, but GC can't see Wii stuff).

GameCube games can only be played with a GameCube controller. No other options.

Yep, GC games require a GC controller to play and a GC mem card to save anything.
