Need help identifying a nerf gun

When I was younger I use to have this nerf rifle that shot bright orange rubber airfoil rings (really damn far). I can't remember the name of it, or find anything like it by looking up nerf and airfoil on ebay.

Does anyone know which rifle I am talking about and the name, or if there are any similar guns like it?

The purple looks familar, but the year needs to be a bit earlier. I will take a look on that site, as it looks like they document every nerf-nerflike gun ever made.
