Need some help please.... Vegas....
You people rank your hotels according to which has the best buffet?
among other things....i.e. attractions, entertainment, quality, etc. When every place has a buffet, you rank them on level and quality because there's always a McDs of buffet/food.
The Wynn buffet was alright, but not worth $36.
i ate there for free, plus dinner is where it's at. Skip breakfast.

So did I (well it was reimbursed by my work). Still wasn't worth $36.
I went to Vegas in March and stayed at Bill's Gambling Hall and Saloon. I would recommend this place. The casino area is meh but the rooms are really nice and big. It is very reasonable price considering its in the middle of the strip. If you are lucky you get a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains. Great place to stay if you are only looking for a hotel to sleep in.
This is a good call. If you are going to walk a lot staying around Flamingo Road wouldn't be a bad idea. That way you are almost right in the middle of everything decent. If you walk North for 15-20 minutes you're up by the Mirage, Treasure island and the Fashion Show Mall. If you walk South for 15 or 20 you have the MGM, NYNY, Tropicana, Excalibur, and Luxor. Caesars is right across the street. Either Bills or the Flamingo are both decent places.

But it really depends on what you're looking for. If money is no object look at the higher end places but if you want to save $$$ Bills and the Flamingo are both good places right in the middle of everything. The Deuce strip bus runs every 10 minutes if you need to get somewhere outside walking distance.
PH is probably the lamest hotel on the strip. It was so much better when it was the Aladdin, but they fucked it up and they're fucking up the property again. It's an eyesore and a piece of shit of one. The buffet is great, and reasonably priced for what you get at least.
Yeah I wouldn't point to it as one of the coolest places on the strip, but it's in a great location. I've never stayed there myself.

Still though that Buffalo Bill's Saloon or whatever it's called has to be lamer. :D

fuck the Deuce! Sorry I had to let that out. When I went, we waited for the Deuce outside The Flamingo. The line was fairly long. The 1st bus came and took a few people. The 2nd bus came and started loading up. A 3rd bus came and started loading up with people behind us while the 2nd was still loading up. 2nd and 3rd bus filled up and leave a bunch of people that were waiting longer than the people who got on the 3rd bus. (if that makes sense) Bullshit!

I recommend the monorail. It doesn't go everywhere but its quick and there is a train every few minutes.

Ya the Deuce is a nightmare at night. The ones I saw were running like every 15+ minutes and were packed to the brim with people.

I was using th deuce last time i went and it had its pros and cons but i can see what some of you had to say.

I would catch it in front of Circus and get out at Fashion Show Mall. No biggie but like in front of Ceasers it was crap to get on. And at night on the weekends its BAAAD.

Get to the Bellagio buffet around 3:30, pay the brunch price ($23 instead of $36), and stay through to the dinner switch at 4. Awesome.

The Strat wasn't too bad. Next time I'm flying to Vegas - it's cheaper and quicker than driving. Too many accidents (I counted 4 major ones) on the 15 coming back to SoCal.

Im not a big fan of buffets but i might bit for that brunch...
Last time I went I had Ra and Chipotle the first two days after that we were eating at crappy mall food. My Ex girlfriend was cheap .... it would piss me off. I would want to get dinner at a nice place and she was NO, lets just get pizza.

Good thing I'm going with a lady friend thats a doctor so she was money ... hopefully she pays for me! Im kidding,

No you're not.

We were just in Vegas in late March, and we're thinking about going again in October for bachelor/bachelorette parties. We stayed at the Palazzo, which is basically just an extension of the Venetian. Hella nice rooms... we only stayed there because my fiance's company covered and booked the rooms. We had a nice view of Wynn's golf course :p

If you're willing to stay outside of the strip (I hear it's quite a bit cheaper), the Hilton may be a good option. It has its own monorail stop, which makes it very convenient to get to most of the casinos. Plus if you're a nerd, you can check out The Star Trek Experience there!

I dont really care were to sleep because thats all the room is gonna be used for ( other than nastytime and showering/changing). So don't bother me none but its my friends girls that my boys are trying to impress well me too sorta this girl im going with has been there a few times also so she dont care too much.

But if anything I might agree with diddy above me because if your gonna do it gotta do it big.
