Need some help with my Logitech Z-5500's

Do any of you know a way to hook up an equalizer of some sort to mess with the bass and trebble? It's hooked up to my 360 via optical, but its high's are so screechily high. Any ideas?

It doesn't have built in bass and treble controls? It should... seeing as how expensive it is. Even the most basic computer speakers have bass and treble controls.

Sadly, no it doesnt, apparently you're supposed to change it through your soundcard and stuff, but since it's not hooked through my PC I can't do it.

Can't you hook it up to your PC, change the settings, and plug it back for your Xbox?

....I have the Z-5500's but I don't quite understand the problem. It has a control center that lets you adjust the bass and treble...I think the treble, but I know for sure you can adjust the bass.

You can adjust the volume of the subwoofer, center, and surrounds. Not quite the same as treble and bass.

Ah. I felt like I was wrong. The system is in storage while I'm at home from school so I didn't quite remember.
