The one game I wanted most, Transformers, was nowhere to be found. Nor at Best Buy, or either EB Games. Like it's going out of style.

But I picked up:
Project Snowblind (Xbox) - I suppose it is good?
Baten Kaitos (GC) - plenty left
LOTR-ROTK (Xbox) ($7.99)

There was a Capcom v SNK left, but I left it for some lucky bastard because I saw Audioslave - Out of Exile was on sale.

$39.49-$25 GC=$14.49 for 3 games and a cd. Not bad.
 
just got back form CC. i went to one by my house and it opened at 10 instead of 11. there was no one their waiting for any games. when i got there there was no games in any bin, but i looked around on the shelves and found ridge racer and capcom vs snk. i thought someone bought all the good games but the csr told me that they still had games in the back. i had to wait about 20 minutes just to get some games. but this is what i came out with:

According to Gamespot, the Xbox has problems with the sound cutting out at various times, and the PS2 version has frame rate problems, possibly due to the aging hardware. Both are merely presentation problems, and do not affect the gameplay in any significant way.
 
Went to 2 stores, the one in Hamburg was well organized, and I picked up a copy of Baten Kaitos. They had 2 left around 1:00.

One on Union by the Galleria was a huge mess, everything dumped into a bin and a shopping cart. Ended up with nothing.

Only other games I was looking for was Megaman and POP:WW for the cube. Ah well.

Nope - its 10% of the difference. Assuming you paid $29.99 for it, like I did last week, they'll credit you back the difference ($20.03), plus 10% of that ($2.03) = $22.06 total credit :) For me, the PM went without a hitch also.
 
Reporting in from the CC in Emeryville, CA. No Baten Kaitos (checked the computer too). One guy took the last KOF and PoP:WW. Another guy took the last two .hack//Outbreak. Games were in a bin; I did a quick scan of the GC and PS2 sections and didn't really see anything they missed besides the copy of Arc the Lad that's been there forever.

Didn't do as well as I had hoped. I manage to only pick two games on my list: 6 and 7. I bought Tiger Woods as consolation. If only I could have find PoP 2; that would have made my day. As of this post I could have still picked up F-Zero and Psi-Ops, however I am discouraged plus I am out of money. My only highlight is that I manage to get THUG 2 for the GBA for $9.99, it was mislabeled. I am not too thrill. I was under the impression that this sale would be only B&M. That is why I stayed out all night yesterday, came home at about 5AM, went directly to bed so that I could wake up in time and head over to CC.
 
Damn, I thought the Circuit City in West Covina opens at 11 on Sunday, only to find out it opens at 10. Got there around 10:55, there were 6 or so people looking through the bin. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be getting any games that I wanted since people were hold a few. But I got the last Baten Kaitos and Rumble Rose, so I am happy. I was thinking about getting Project Snow Blind, but I left that behind. The kid ahead of me had like 10 or so games, and they were like the only copies ( transformer, KOF, Dragua etc.). People should hurry up if they want something from that store.
 
I went to the local CC, and I got King Of Fighters: Maximum Impact, and Dead To Rights. There wasn't really a decent selection just a bunch of Fight Clubs, and some Pokemon game.
 
Went to the CC in Salt Lake City (Sugarhouse) today. There were about 3 other people hovering over the games (at least one had the list - the sales associates were happy to show their lists to people to). I picked up both Hamtaro games for my niece (there was at least one Ham Ham Games left) but they didn't have the only game from this sale that I wanted - Atari Anniversary Advance. Also, other people there asked about PoP and Baten Kaitos and they had neither.

This is at the store in Vestal, NY. The gamers around here seem to be all mainstreamers so all the good pickings are left. When I showed up there was about six games left in the bin but they an associate brought out a whole new batch....

My store had Goldeneye and World Championship Poker labeled as 9.99 but when I went up front they rang up $19.99. Showed them the sticker and they reduced it. Don't know if this is YMMV....
 
I got to the one here in Tallahassee around noon. They had a pretty good amount of stuff... several things that looked interesting, though I don't really know anything about them.

There were more that I wanted to get, but I held back. Here's what I got:

When I left there was still plenty of stuff, so if there's anyone around here who hasn't been there yet and wants to, it may be worth a look.

just got back from the CC at Frisco, TX. I showed up at about 5 minutes after they opened, some bastard already had his cart loaded with 30+ games.. many of them multiples of the same titles... including 4 copies of SVC: Chaos which my friend and I were hoping for a copy of. I managed to get a copy of KOF: max impact and day of reckoning but everything that had been there the night before was pretty much gone... and in that one loser's cart.

God I hate resellers.

Thats the closest one to me and I rarely go there anymore since the selection seems like its just been going downhill in the past year. I got my stuff online early this morning and I'm glad I decided not to go there since it seems like there wasnt much. I still may check out one of the others CCs around here though.
 
Well this sale was a total bust for me =(

My circuit city opened at 11 ..I got there at 12. They took all of the games off the shelf yesterday pertaining to the sale and put them in one bin near the game aisle this morning to be "fair" to all shoppers...

SO fair that an employee(who was pissed he didnt get any games) said 5 guys walked in together right as the store opened at 11 and ransacked the bin. EVERYTHING good was gone /cries

No baiten Kaitos for me =(

On top of that my car was vandalised yesterday too..I hate life.

That's exactly how it went down, yes. All of the games were PM'd to 110% of the difference.

I saw Baten Kaitos online for hte reduced price. At the store, I also saw Rainbow Six 3 with headset for $9.99. Oh, an if no one else has said this, the clearance runs through the end of the month.
 
Eh, I doubt this is even worth stopping by CC at 3pm, thanks to the fatass reselling lamers. Even though CC's ad today clearly states a maximum of 3 games per customer.

The greatest part is, the trading forums are going to be flooded with these games as nublets attempt to jockey them for more than the $10 they're worth.

I remember a CAG comprised of collectors and gamers who watched out for eachother and only took what they needed. Now it seems more than ever that this place is swelling with the pus of resellers and profiteers.
 
Just got back from my Olympia, WA Circuit City. It still had a very good selection and very small amount of people. Picked up FIFA Soccer 2004 and NHL 2005. Would have bought more, but I still have to save for NCAA Football 06.

If you still think they have it in store, go back and get it cause its even on their website for $10. I got one this morning. If it doesn't ring up just show them that its on their website at $10 and they'll make the correction.

Circuit City in Tigard, Oregon had hardly anything. I didn't see anything notable really. I picked up Ridge Racer DS for anybody interested. I'm really looking to trade for Baten Kaitos if anybody wants to help me out.
 
I came back with Baten Kaitos and Gungrave OD. Both are mild disappointments. Baten Kaitos seems like its going to be the hardest of the games to get. A lot of people were looking out for it. I got the last one at my CC and some dude (he must have had at least 6 to 7 games) gave me the dirtiest look as I got rang up with it. It seems he really wanted it. Oh well I win.

Yes I originally tried to buy most of what I wanted online today at 11am or so...but once you get it all into your cart and go to purchase, almost every game is listed as not in stock (even if it wasn't on the games page).
 
came back from the CC in irvine..

picked up thief,siren,mega man,gungrave,snowblind (ps2),socom 2 w/headset, and monster rancer 3

everything was separated in bins in two separate areas, one near the cash register and the other one near the video games section.

no baiten kaitos, PoP2, .hack

plenty of thief,socom,rumble roses,day of reckoning still left

also picked up Star Wars battlefront and pm'd to the fry's ad in todays paper for $14.49.
 
had my grandpa pick up Rainbow Six 3 w/ Headset for xbox, so got all the games i wanted. This deal is great!

Just came back from CC in Santa Monica, CA.

Mostly old sports games but I picked up:

I was bummed that I couldn't find a single copy of Project Snowblind for either the PS2 or the Xbox since that's the game I really wanted. No Baten Kaitos either. Darn it.

I saw some guy there with a basket filled with games, including like 10 copies of Sphinc and 11 copies of RotK PS2. Geez.
 
I got Spiderman 2 and Riddick. Project Snowblind had only 1 copy left but I didn't want it. No Rainbow Six 3 or Thief 3 and there was only like 2 people looking at games besides me.
 
Went to CC off Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA. Got there a few minutes before opening and there were no good games at all. Riddick was the only decent one there. Picked up some good dvds though.

After being there about 10 minutes, some iranian guy came in and bought about 20 games. He grabbed all the Riddicks and whatever decent PS2 games were there. I thought about keying his car.
 
College Station, TX - Went this morning right when it opened. A few other people were around, but only a kid and his dad seemed to be aware of the sale, and all he got for himself was two sports games or so. I was expecting them to be resellers but it didn't look that way.

There was only one copy of BK and POP. The others had multiple copies. They didn't have a bin, but on each respective shelf per system, the clearenced games had been placed on the bottom of the rack (where there's this holding bin shelf sort of thing), making it easy to find what was [not] on sale. There was lots of Fzero, Harry Potter (Secrets/Quidditch), numerous sports title, all the GBA titles, etc.

I'm looking for a copy of Nanobreaker, would be willing to trade Riddick or Megaman for it if possible (*maybe* SSX3 or KOF if people are interested).

I also might head back tomorrow to see if anything else gets put out.
