New "Hot Thread" icon's fire too bright?

Unless I had a little stroke, there is a new "Hot Thread" icon.
In my opinion, the new icon's fire is too bright when there are no new posts. It used to be a quick glance to see if there were any new posts in threads, now I have to look at the top two corners of the icon to see if the background is bright white since the fire is the same regardless of whether there are new posts in the thread.

I still think the fire should be dimmed like the rest of the icon, but the new one is a lot better.

hmm looks like it's back to normal? I was thinking it was just me that saw it
