Sounds like you're going to want/need a decent CPU (I'd suggest a minimum i5) and a robust graphics card, at least 1gb.

It has the latest generation i7 with a minimum 1gb graphics card with an option to upgrade both. retailmenot is showing additional $100 off laptops priced at ≥$799 with code WHITE100 and free shipping. Without any upgrades, that would bring the total to around $875 (quoted for me in CA) depending on your state tax rate and any applicable e-recycling fees. It was about $50 more just a few days ago.
