I've been in the same boat for a long time now; dying to play certain games (Naruto, Metal Slug 3, Ka 2, etc.), but not willing to shell out $300+ at once to get one.
If it does prove to be able to play imports in some fashion, I'll definitely get one. If not, as long as my PS2 holds up, I don't see any reason to get one just yet.
