new receiver

so outputs on my trusty receiver have started to fail.
im gonna take it apart when i get home. but i think it may be time to get a replacement.

were on thin ice financially for the next few months, so i cant go apeshit,
and i really dont need to on this.
im looking at the yamaha htr-5940.
its better than what i have and i paid more than 3 times that 5 years ago when i bought mine.

any thoughts?

the one im replacing is a yamaha, and i really have no interest in any other brand.
