There is a high possibility that it will come in the platinum hits box. You'll have better time looking for a regular cover box at retail.

i read mixed reviews for it , but then again i loved playing Armored Core 2 and 3 on my PS2 years ago , and seeing Armored Core 4 reminded how much i love the series , though i never got around to picking it up, anyways i can't wait to build me some mechs again!

I bought the Simpsons when it was $8, and part of me regrets it.

If you're into achievement-hunting it's worth it, but even at $8 it's just not a game I really enjoy playing.

Really? I enjoyed it. the gameplay does get a little stale by the end. But what kept me going was the writing. Best Simpsons episode in years.

Dark Sector is most definitely worth 10 bucks. It's not the best game, but it's a solid game, with an interesting gimmick, and good graphics. It's a steal for ten bucks.

It should come with a one month LIVE card like the other older Games for Windows Live did (Viva Pinata and The Club) before Microsoft made the service free for PC users. Wanted to check if anybody had gotten it and it had the 1 month card inside.

I know that even though the cards are labeled, Games for Windows Live, the code works just fine on Xbox Live service to extend/start Gold membership.
 
Picked up LOST for $9.99. I'm a big fan of the show, so hopefully it'll be a fun diversion and I won't feel too bad about it since it was only $10 bucks. :)
 
I grabbed MLB the Bigs for 360. Wasnt on there yesterday but now its 10 bucks!!! :) Played it on ps2 so i know its worth the 10 bucks!

I loved the movie, but the level of comedy in the game seems more reminiscent of the series' current output (not that great IMO). For $8, I really can't complain though. It's just one of those games I could have done without, in retrospect.
 
Bought a PSP recently so I picked up Lumines II. Thinking about picking up Syphon Filter buy I have a humongous backlog of games.
 
I bit on Simpsons when it was $8 and still feel a bit ripped off. I think I will be playing the game for the video game jokes, which is surprising since I'm one of those people who think the Simpsons has been more bad than good for over ten years, but just in the first level the white rabbit taunts me by saying "Maybe you should stick to turn based RPGs" which was clever enough to bring a smile to my face (in my head anyway, who smiles in real life?). The game itself... yuck, though you probably already knew that if you played the demo.

Blue Dragon is easily worth $13, even after I finished and sold my first copy of the game.

The bright side of Viva Pinata going back up to $20: now you can just forget about it and get the second game instead.
 
Finally bit on EEE for the PSP. My PSP backlog is growing by the day. Will pick up GTA when it finally hits $10 and not a moment sooner. not like I don't have anythng else to waste my time on.

Pretty much. I think we discussed it a few pages back. Basically the GH cases are ugly as fuck, and I like my collection to look nice.

I don't know for sure that this is the GH version. I didn't realize there even was a GH version of GRAW2, but when I looked it up on Amazon there it was. I think that whenever newegg has these games this cheap, and a GH version exists, it's pretty much guaranteed you're going to be getting the GH version. I may switch it out too. I honestly don't mind the GH versions for PS2 games, and even PS3, but they fuck the cover up so bad on the 360 GH games and make them ugly. I hate it when they shrink the art and put a bad 80's looking boarder around the original art. It's just ugly, that's all.
 
I don't understand why they want one more obstacle to making a sale. The title has sold so well, we are reducing the price - but you get more than you bargain for!

It must be to add incentive to buy at the high price - so you don't end up with crappy artwork later on.

Doesn't make any sense to me either. You want all your games to match on your bookshelf? Or impress people by how much money you've spent to ensure you only get non-hits versions? I'd rather get more games for the money (and time) that I spend, rather than trying to find non-hits versions.
