Is Blue Dragon still the spanish version?
Just recieved Blue Dragon today. I havnt had time to put it in the xbox yet and make completely sure, but the case, manual and disks all have english writing, no spanish. So I think its safe to assume its not the spanish version.
1st used copy from the Egg had booklet, not original case, its a knock-off case that is closer to original xbox case green. Disc was scratched, didn't work well initially, but got buffed and it worked fine, gave to Bro-in-law.

2nd used copy from the Egg was exactly the same except the disc had minimal scratches and worked fine out of the box.

Customer service insisted that its suppose to be new product still though. I wrote them an email after getting the second one, telling them that it wasn't but that I was satisfied with the purchase, because I knew what it was likely to be before I had the second one sent out, despite their apparent lack of knowledge on their own stock.
Thanks for the reply. Now I'm sort of regretting the purchase. Hopefully my copy will be alright. I have the worst luck possible, so we'll see what happens. And I usually won't even buy a used game unless it comes with original case, cover-art, booklet, etc.... so I'm ready to be disappointed.

Why it's so screwed up that they don't know the products they are selling as new may actually be opened/used?

Anyone bought Zoids Assault from them and if it's brand new factory sealed?

I've bought both Operation Darkness and Zoids Assault and both were factory sealed. Same for Black Sigil, but I suppose that's too new to be expected otherwise.

For those of you who purchase from newegg regularly, are the games shipped exactly the same as the picture shown with the product? What I am asking is if some of the older titles that may or may not be platinum or greatest hits, is the product pictured exactly the same as the one you receive? I'm sure there is a better way of saying this, its just I don't like those ugly best seller cases & I missed out on some classics;

They're usually exactly what's pictured, but if the game recently became a PH or GH title, they'll usually ship out their remaining original prints, then ship out the ____ Hits without updating their site.

Basically, you should get an original copy, unless it recently became a ___ Hits title, in which case it's a gamble.

all the games i got from them are in original sealed condition. i guess it depends on the games. package art is the same as on the site.

btw, nothing i want in that massive list.

I bought it and it was factory sealed. It even had the preorder bonus code for the extra skins on the back of the case.

Just received Dark Sector. Brand new factory sealed. Bit on it because it was so cheap and heard good things about it. Free 1 day shipping is nice.

Yeah, you have to watch Newegg. The Tenchu Shadow Assassins Wii game I ordered had a funny looking case that is definitely not standard. It's sealed like a new game (and the contents were pristine), but I'm pretty sure it had been resealed (that particular game should have a standard case, as I verified by checking at a retail store)

Some Wii shovelware titles of marginal interest:
:bouncy: Celebrity Sports Showdown Wii Game EA $9.99 shipped (ordered this out of morbid curiosity, shipped-
Has kayaking, fencing . .etc. it's a weird mini game collection. If I can stab Fergie with Sugar Ray Leonard's foil THEN I AM IN!) :bouncy:

Monkey Mischief $9.99 (shipped)
Coraline $9.99 (shipped)
Game Party $9.99 again (has beer pong, shipped)
Avatar; BE $9.99 again (shipped)

Its actually my first time buying at Newegg. I gotta admit that it was a lot easier than I realized. The whole transaction went really smooth and easy. I should have gone to Newegg sooner!

Also: In for 1 for Prince of Persia PC; Thanks OP!

I'm not sure what you mean by standard case. There are several white case types used by Nintendo authorized replication facilities. The differences are mainly in the side lock area. I can't speak to Tenchu, but I have seen several other third party games come in a variety of case types. As long as it isn't some non-white or generic white DVD case, I don't think you got a Tenchu reseal.

Yeah, side lock area is different. I assumed it was resealed since the same game title had two different case types (guess all my sealed wii games just happen to use the exact same case). But if Nintendo authorizes that, then it's probably ok...
A few PC deals that I noticed:

:pc: Guild Wars GOTY = $9.99
:pc: Guild Wars: Factions = $9.99
:pc: Call of Juarez = $6.99 (the original)
:pc: Prey = $5.99
:pc: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 = $9.99
:pc: The Witcher = $14.99
:pc: F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin = $23.99
:pc: Lost Planet = $7.99
:pc: Devil May Cry 4 = $9.99
Slightly better, if anyone wants Guild Wars (Whereas GOTY just has some bonus crap, this has an expansion)

:pc: Guild Wars Platinum Edition (GW + EotN Expac) = $9.99

I also saw ARMA 1 for $9.99, and the newer NWN 2 expansion, Storms of Zehir for $14

Newegg's a really good site. I've come to realize through usage of them (got ~95% of my computer components from them building my rig and don't regret a penny spent) that if there's a problem, their customer service is stellar...I've rest assured if I get something damaged (like I did with a bad HDD, which they covered shipping and all on the exchange, sent me a new one, not a dime more than I should have spent was spent) then they'll replace it or refund it. I've only used them for around a dozen orders, but their shipping is amazingly quick, and often free.

Their games aren't always the cheapest, they're usually on par with Amazon in the majority of cases, but a good few they're really cheap, and hard to beat.

On that note, I'd recommend only getting the Witcher Enhanced Edition, only because I've heard of some issues with the regular edition. They fixed a bunch of bugs and rereleased it with a refined release as the "Enhanced Edition", and it's like $36 at Newegg or Amazon, one of the two. So yeah, a good bit more money, but IMO it's worth it....though you can take that for what it's worth. Amazing game.

Actually, it seems like the upgrade to the Enhanced Edition is in a free patch for those who own the original version. (Version 1.4, I believe) The Enhanced Edition comes with some extra stuff though I think (like music cds) but the game should be the same with this patch. Just letting you guys know.

witcher and witcher enhanced (and the recent enhanced director's cut) are all the same content-wise. All support the official patch up to the most current, drm-free product.
The difference with the enhanced is what extras are in the box, per the witcherwebsite:

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition will feature...the Official Soundtrack CD, a Music Inspired by The Witcher CD, an official game guide, The Witcher short story by Andrzej Sapkowski, a Making-of DVD with behind-the-scenes video footage, and a map of The Witcher’s world.

Anyway, like the other post mentioned, you can completely upgrade your original edition of the Witcher to the enhanced edition using the patches provided by CDProjekt most of which can be found here: http://www.thewitcher.com/community/en/www/installation_of_twee_in_four_easy_steps.html . CDProject even made some of the additional items that come with the Enhanced edition, such as the music files, available as a free download from that same link as well. There is also a newer 1.5 patch that completely removes the DRM From the game, fixes additional bugs, and adds a few other missions.
Not to be really anal about it but a 24$ item ona 15 and under thread? Jeez.
Sorry about that, forgot to remove that one. Still a good deal though!

Well, sorry about that then. Unfortunately I was misinformed. I have the Enhanced, but was told it was the only way to get the bugs minimized a bit ago, either it was true at the time, or the person was misinformed/ignorant as well.
ordered Izuna 2 (DS) $12 :) I tried Populous (DS) $13 and they charge $7 shipping (the website say free shipping). Kinda weird :(
Yikes. For what it's worth, Populous is $14.99 new at Gamestop, if you can find it in your local store(s) and you're willing to throw $2 more into it. That being said, I got it recently and it's . . . ok but not great. And I'm saying this as someone who was a big fan of the game back in the Amiga days, too.

Is Conan really even worth $10? I wanna pick it up, but I'm not sure... I like hack and slash games and I even enjoyed Viking.
Is Conan really even worth $10? I wanna pick it up, but I'm not sure... I like hack and slash games and I even enjoyed Viking.
Its a decent hack n Slash with some timed event as well. Its pretty much a god of war type clone of sorts so if you enjoyed that this is like the poor developers version of that but for $9.99 well worth it...

I got it about a year ago and It's worth playing at least once. I had a lot of fun and you see some naked ladies throughout ;) If you like hack and slash games then I'd say definitely pick it up for $10.
