Damn.  I'm actually tempted.  Still a $150 controller.  Yeah they'll probably be a new version of it soon with bluetooth, but that's not a big deal to me.  Crazy good deal.

I'm holding on till Scorpio. My Day One has been one hell of a reliable system for me. If I didn't have a system yet id probably pick up this Elite.

Unless you have a dead XB1 you have to replace now or don't want to jump into the XB1 ecosystem later at whatever price point Scorpio is going to come out at (I'm guessing $499), an Elite is going to be a good entry point at this point.

The XB1 S eclipses the Elite in every say save the controller and the 1TB hybrid drive. The XB1 S will also have an option for a 2TB drive, as well as a UHD BD drive and 4K playback.

I have an original gen system that is working great since purchase at the end of 2014 and I have no plans to replace it until Scorpio shows up or it shits the bed.

Not really. It comes with under paddles gears themed and some dlc for gears 4. I was thinking this new one should be based on the new controllers with bluetooth but the internet results says it doesn't or there isn't any info on it.
