Nick arcade !!

I remember the guy randomly making up songs to go along with the music when they moved to play games. Ugh, these are some bad memories here. :p

BTW, I remember having an Amiga computer around this time and finging it interesting that this show used an Amiga for their video editing, special effects, etc. /random trivia
 
I remember how the kids on there were really really retarded. They were obviously kids who were there on vacation. To think, Psygnosis did the graphics and stuff for the final "challenge". Granted, I still watch it on GAS if its on when I'm flipping around
 
I don't think they ever officially referenced it, but the "Mikey" character that moves around the boards is the main character from Star Tropics.

In the episode in the link, the girl was playing some shooter (looked like a crap game - how do you NOT choose Gradius from those choices???) and her tactic was "ram everything with my plane". It didn't work so well. ;)

BTW, anyone remember an even OLDER video game show called Starcade? This was back mid-80's I believe. Man, I'm old. :p

Also making the youtube rounds today was GamePro TV, which as amazingly lame it is I distinctly remember spending months and months of my life, every saturday trying to find this on TV.

I saw one episode once and it became a quest to see it everyweek. Problem was, it was on at seemingly random times on seemingly random days.

I used to scoure the TV guide as well for it. Then, one day, I discovered the movie directory in the back of TV guide listed what movies contained nudity or the covetted SSC (a.k.a. Strong Sexual Content) and a new hobby began.

Ah... you kids with your internet, when I was young we had to scratch and claw for porn. Old magazines, the olympics gymnastic competitions and heavily edited skinamax fair on USA's Up-All-Nite.

Man, I'm glad I never got on this show. I understand that they are kids, but damn I feel embarrased that this show even existed.

THERE IS ONLY ONE DIRECTION YOU CAN GO! But it still takes them 10 seconds to figure it out.

Plus how can someone be so bad at a video game? Shoot the enemies! Don't run into them.

I'm pretty sure that the host wanted to commit suicide after some shows.

Guaranteed the host just would like to stab one of them. Sadly, I too used to watch this show,a nd like it. I was a fool.

I like how in the intro they run out of the back. I think the show was cancelled due to the host guy having a damn heart attack after running so much.
