Just bought the 2 vouchers thing. Redeemed one on Mario maker and most likely using the second one on the Zelda remake later in the year. After gold coins it was just about $60 out of pocket :)

I do the same thing, though I started right as the trade promos began to suck so I've only gotten about $10 worth. The savvy employees must be rolling in coins.
 
For the 3DS owners, the best deals IMHO are Digger Dan DX (only 39 cents!) and Quest of Dungeons.  Digger Dan DX is basically a remake of Boulder Dash, and Quest of Dungeons is one of my favorite turn-based roguelikes of this generation.  And Quest of Dungeons is cross-buy with the Wii U version.  I love being a patient gamer!

BTW Cadence of Hyrule is pretty challenging. I don't know how some people are putting that it is easy, but I'm having a hard time with it sometimes. It's pretty fun and every part with monsters is a challenge sometimes and fun. It's a bit awkward to use some items and to use your shield, but you get used to it. It's probably going to take me a while to get through it since I keep dying. I was pretty good at the original, but haven't played that in a while. A worthwhile purchase IMHO if you like rhythm action games.

Agreed there. It's vastly more forgiving than Crypt of the Necrodancer (and most roguelikes) but vastly less forgiving than recent Zelda games. For me it's a good balance, but heads up.

 
Since this is a very pro-physical crowd, just wanted to throw this question out there:

I've been slowly converting my physical Switch library to digital and trying to do so only when the price difference is about $5 or so. Do you think Mario Odyssey is a good candidate for a conversion? I normally keep single-player games like RPGs as physical since once you beat it, no reason to revisit. I just wonder how much I would revisit Odyssey to keep it as a digital version.

I seen several people that played it for a full year just working on collecting the moons in the game. I myself beat the main story and played a bit after that and had my fill. To me it's not one you would go back to, once it's 100% its done.

I didn't want to double post but for those of you interested in The Mana Collection, Square is reporting that this will be a limited release run so if you are wanting a physical copy you best pick it up or pre-order it. Most retailers have it available to pre-order.

Keep in mind too this will be at all major retailers and Walmart has been doing below MSRP on new releases in stores (not on preorders, but on store shelves). So there is a good chance at getting the game on discount at launch. It may be limited but it's getting a pretty wide release.

After sleeping a night or two after preordering on Amazon, I ended up cancelling my preorder for the Collection of Mana. I love the idea of owning these games on the Switch, but I have other ways to play them and really don't know when I'd ever make the time for them with what's coming out as well as the games I still hotly anticipate playing that are already in my backlog.

It depends on your personal replayability scale, methinks. It's a very polished platformer and I enjoyed it all the way through. I don't know if I would go back to it and start over, but I'm not one to do that anyway.

Rite Aid has a deal on eshop credit next week, starting Sunday 6/17.  You can get $4 Bonuscash with each $20 eshop card you buy (limit 2).  So you can buy 2 $20 cards and get $8 in Bonuscash back.  Rite Aid Bonuscash is good on most goods they sell in store with the normal exclusions (milk, tobacco, etc).  I believe using Bonuscash on other gift cards is also excluded.  Either way, if you buy regular items at Rite Aid (especially those on sale), this is a decent deal.

Clicked the "like" button on this even though the Rite Aid near me just closed. They're turning it into a Dollar Tree. But I like to see a good deal.

 
I'm streaming some Mainlining, which is a hacking adventure game out on 6/20 (link).

Edit: Apologies for the issues with the stream, I'll work on figuring out what's causing them and try to stream it again tomorrow.

You can have up to 8 Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers at a time. <- direct from nintendo's site. So that's four pair, just ensure you are logged in correctly, and that your Nintendo Online account is active? Those are the only things I could see holding you back.

My account is active thru 9/2020. Isn't giving me an option to buy more, just redeem what I already have

I loved Stardew Valley and could not get into Portia at all. The story/progression was completely uninteresting.
