It can't come soon enough for me. My 200+ hours of XC2 living only on my switch is very uncomfortable.

Thanks guys. This was the kick in the pants I needed to trade in Ys VIII and pick-up XC2. $30 TIV at Amazon; picked-up XC2 at Target for $46 after Red Card discount and a $5 gift card I had.

I tend to hold onto games longer than I need to or should. I'm not a collector...I won't hold onto something unless something really hits me. So when I fired up Ys VIII this morning and saw I hadn't played in two months, combined with this it was good motivation to jump in and give XC2 a try.

If it clicks, I might be able to hold off on Spiderman until Black Friday, which would be nice :)

I hate to be that guy, but be sure to keep playing for at least like 10-15 hours past the tutorial stuff. It is an amazing game, and you need to really get into the battle system, discovery, and story beats.
 
I just want to throw in another recommendation for ispand express. I knew nothing about the game at all. Tried the demo when it went on sale and just really liked it. Elements of pinball and metroidvania with like a Pikmin aesthetic. Definitely worth snagging on sale.

I played through the whole game and thoroughly enjoyed it. I never played it on the WiiU so I have no frame of reference there, but I did skip the funky kong mode since it was too easy.

Been waiting for a sale for these, but can't help but feel they'll certainly drop lower soon enough. They've dropped to 50% on other systems if I'm not mistaken. Although Capcom could just value these higher because the exclusive features and this might be the best we get for quite a while.

I ended up getting the Messenger and some $0.99 game because I needed to burn through my eShop credit in order to switch regions. I know, you can create a second account and add it to the same Switch console, but I'd rather just try to keep everything under one account. Never adding $100 in eShop credit again. I just had to keep waiting for sales on most everything and get burned when a physical release was announced later.

 
They also mentioned Treasure Trove digital will be increasing to $39.99 once those games release, so if you've been holding off double dipping (or haven't played at all for some reason) and want it digitally, remember to do so before April, as it's still $24.99 until then.

You can get both on amazon right now for $30 (link). I ended up getting it at best buy at that price plus GCU for around $24. Collection 1 is on the cart, and there is a download card for collection 2. Mine also came with a mega man cleaning cloth. Definitely have enjoyed playing through these.

I'm sure it'll be on sale eventually, but this game was TOO fun on my Wii U and I got it from the Humble Bundle, so I don't mind picking it up now for full price!

Does anyone know if the switch version of L.A. Noire lets you skip interrogation cutscenes? I never bothered to finish the game when I bought it on Xbox 360 due to the fact that if you screwed up an interrogation you had to start all over again

Since Diablo 3 for Switch has been announced, every retailer listed by Nintendo on the official Diablo 3 Switch page has D3 for Switch available for pre-order (or in Walmarts case, listed but unable to order. you have to search for it) *except* for Bestbuy. Which Nintendo lists as 2nd on the page.

I've left feedback in the search results about not showing the Switch version, and asked the clerk at a store when I picked up a game there today. He was surprised it wasn't listed, but said it's probably just an oversight that the web guys will put up "eventually"

Decided to head to the bestbuy forums and see if there was anyone else curious.

Looks like BB has not decided if they want to even carry it, which is odd for this big of a title.

That wouldn’t make sense. I was hoping to use my GCU discount on it, so if they don’t carry it, I may wait to purchase.

I don't think it's all active playtime, but my timer is at 16 hours over the last 50 or so hours that I've owned it. I've basically either been sleeping, working, or playing. I've already played it more than I did Ys 8 over 3-4 months.

It's definitely not perfect. Fetch quests. RNG. Bad map/guidance system. But I'm hooked already regardless and won't be putting it down for a while.

Cool. It gets much much better as you move along with the story.

 
The way this reads, I could borrow a VC4 cartridge and get the 25% discount. Almost bought this on PS4 yesterday but glad I waited.
