Just ordered the starter pack for $25 after shipping and tax from newegg yesterday. What will I miss with digital deluxe, and is it worth $15 more? I won't be using the toys really

You basically get all the ships, pilots, and weapons from the toys without having to buy the toys.

I beat the entire game without buying any additional ships, pilots, or weapons. You need the extra weapons to 100% the game, but they're not necessary.

Just FYI, but I think they announced all of the new songs added to JD Unlimited after the launch of JD 2019 would be exclusive to JD 2019, so you'll get more songs on 2019's Unlimited. Plus, a bunch of the songs from JD 2018 are on 2019's Unlimited, so you kind of effectively get much of 2018 with 2019. So, basically, 2019 is the better buy, but you'll probably want Unlimited. You might luck out and get a sale at some point. Earlier this year, they had a sale where I got a one year Unlimited sub cheap.

The game is perfect for handheld. I can easily sit back and play for an hour withiut the need to be at a computer or one a big screen.
Diablo and Switch are a perfect match. Play on the TV or bed/couch or anywhere with internet.

I guess the days of Virtual Console titles on Wii U getting discounts for holiday sales is long gone, let alone any substantial Wii U game discounts anyway. Just have to rely on My Nintendo and the off-chance that they'll offer VC games that I haven't already bought in the past now for some discounted prices.

Found myself needing additional Switch storage this morning after watching many SD card deal tweets go by the last few weeks. Did a quick scan for current deals but don't see any. Anyone aware of any? Also, is it worth getting the U3 speed cards?

usually amazon runs a weekly deal for some brand if u dont care, if u want official then not sure when, bought another offical 128gb from amazon when they were 35-40 i believe or cheaper when i guess to get rid of inventory since the 128gb were averaging 2-4 times more than aftermarket ones. if ur dead set on a good deal probably either this weekend or maybe next week more will show up since its getting closer to ces so should be some deals then

I'm using this U1 card I bought a few weeks ago. It's just over $20 at the moment.

It's worked great so far. I think the switch will make use of the U3 speed but I've had no noticeable lag loading or playing games yet.

Here's a 128GB U3 card for $30. Not bad but since I mostly buy physical game carts I'm mostly using storage for some of these cheap digital offerings. If you plan on doing a lot of bigger games the U3 may be the way to go... though you may want to go for an even bigger card for much higher cost.

Go into the controller settings from the home menu and recalibrate it. It'll have you do a serious of gestures with the stick and will fix it if that is the issue. If it isn't, they will repair or replace it so long as it is still under warranty. I had issues with one and they replaced it after the second issue.

If they do have you return it, they will have you fill out a detailed explanation. Assume they are people that have never played ANY game before or they won't catch the problem. I resent it due to that and they just replaced mine for nothing with free overnight shipping. PM me if you need any further explanation!

Ok, i have a question. My kids just got 2ds' for xmas. If i make a family group can they share my purchases? And if so how? I cant for the life of me figure this out. Thank you in advance.
 
Yes, that and managing child permissions. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on 3DS eShop purchases since we have 4 systems in my house; not being able to play the games on more than one system doesn't work for us.

Just turned on my Switch and saw the "news" that Octopath Traveller was 40% off!

The link breaks... and after going to the eShop manually and seeing Octopath at full price, I find out it's on sale in the Japan eShop and I was seeing the news feed from my JP account.  :cry: (wish I could turn those off and only see the US eShop stuff)

Anyway it seems there is a Square sale on the JP eShop ending Jan 8th, and i guess not in US.

Moonlighter is on sale for 19.99 and is amazing. Part rouge lite dungeon crawler, part store management sim with a tiny bit of town building.

I saw that too. Its still a decent price at $39 and does support English. But I think I can wait.

Does anyone have a Mexican account and can check the price of Steven Universe: Save the Light? I don't want to region change just to see if its cheaper. Thanks!

Have you tried air duster under the rubber dust shield? Use a small knife/letter opener to gently pull up on the rubber dust shield that's around the analog stick's shaft, insert the spray duster's nozzle under that flap, then spray air duster all up in there while moving the analog stick.
