Anyone know if the save for mario+rabbits (physical) and mario+rabbids gold (digital) would be the same?  I know some GotY releases on other systems have had different saves/trophies (looking at you, Shadow of Mordor), for example. 

Really tempted to trade in physical for digital, as I adore the game.

It hasn't been cheaper digitally. Do you like Zelda? Do you like dynasty warriors? If you answered yes to both then you will like it. If you answered yes to only one if those then you might want to look up some videos and see if it's your cup of tea. I think it's a solid game but don't go into it thinking it's a Zelda game. It's really long too so expect to dedicate a lot if time to it.

Some one else can go into depth about other regions but you basically just change your country on the website. All your gold coins you earn though can only be used from that region.

Word of warning that The Way Remastered is $0.99 USD, and Hollow is $1.99 USD, both on US eShop! No need to go scam other countries to get those games cheap!

Basically two choices, switching your main account's region using the website, or making a new account for that region. If you have eShop credit in your account, you lose it if you switch regions, so that's not always a viable choice.

Today for example since I have $30 in eShop credit on my US account and don't want to lose it, I went on my Japanese account to buy VOEZ and Deemo since they're on sale there, according to eshop-prices.com. You can either buy gift card for that region's eShop, or link your card/paypal if that region accepts your payment method

You can play games from other accounts on your normal account, similar to how PS4 does it

It's a seemingly ongoing issue with that game. This is straight from Ubisoft.

"We've been made aware that a small amount of Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Packs have been shipped without a copy of the disc and/or cartridge included," the statement reads. "We are currently investigating the scope of this issue and potential solutions. In the meantime, if anyone's been affected by this issue, please tell them contact Ubisoft customer service at support.ubi.com and they will provide assistance."

Did you play super Mario party solo or with a friend? My wife and I love it, but I can understand if you’re playing it solo that it does drag out. There is a single player campaign but it doesn’t unlock until you play all of the mini games, which of course is a long dragged out grind. I’d say give it another try, but to each their own.

That is correct. The few times I’ve bought games with this same promotion advertised, I’ve received the 300 gold coins when pre-ordering right away, and then receive the additional 300 gold coins the day the game comes out. I received an email when it happens, and they deposit the coins straight into your account, no promo codes or anything to punch in to redeem.

What I don’t know is if you get the 300 additional gold coins if you pre-order through a 3rd party, like Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, etc. Whenever I’ve pre-ordered games falling under this promotion, I’ve always bought directly from the eShop. My guess is that you’d still get the 300 additional gold coins, but I have no proof, just a hunch (based on how the full gold coins loophole works when the game is on sale on eShop).

the fine print does say eshop or nintendo only, and i assume places like bestbuy etc send out the codes on the 11th like normal. So kinda doubt the bonus would apply getting it elsewhere.
Since i have eshop credit ($60 left from that $100 that i got for 20% off..) it would make it a pretty good deal with the $6 back in coins.

I preordered the digital version of smash bros through Best Buy and I was able to redeem the 600 coins, and I did receive an email from Nintendo reminding me of the coin deposit. It really worked in my favor since I had some previous BB gift cards. Basically any game code entered into the Eshop is treated like a full price purchase and you will receive the full coin amount.

If that’s the case, so you can preload the game before release, then my guess is that you’d be treated the same way as if you bought it direct from eShop. If you don’t get your code from 3rd party until the day of release, then you would definitely not receive those additional coins.

Possibly dumb/obscure question but I know it's happened for other games in the past:

Anyone know if the save for mario+rabbits (physical) and mario+rabbids gold (digital) would be the same? I know some GotY releases on other systems have had different saves/trophies (looking at you, Shadow of Mordor), for example.

Really tempted to trade in physical for digital, as I adore the game.
