From what I'm seeing online, this is not the PC version of the game (Ultimate Fishing Simulator), but something else they threw together. First impressions have been pretty negative.

But according to Fishingmania's comments on Youtube, they plan to release the PC version the second quarter of 2019.

I guess I'm passing on this one for now, and will probably pick up Fishing Star next week.

I'm glad I picked up Binding of Isaac since it seems like Xbox is never getting the DLC. With all of the new stuff added it's as if I'm playing a new game.

I'm not at all bothered that Metroid Prime 4 is restarting development under Retro Studios. I think overall this is actually a good move for the potential quality of the game experience. Thanks for posting the video.

Not sure if it's been patched but some feedback on that version of Crystalis says that it has some issues. Not trying to stop you, just help set your expectations.

Okay, I have a very beginner question about Switch and I don't see an easy answer online.

I have one Switch and two kids.  If one kid buys a game, can it be played on the other account (which is the same Switch)?

In other words, on PS4, my kids can play any game I buy on my account (through their sub-account) and we're all using the same PS4.

Is that the same on Switch?

Yes. I have two accounts on my Switch (my normal one, and a Mexican eShop one) and either one can play any game purchased on the other account

It's not slow and clunky it's just a throwback to a mostly dead genre. As such, you may be better served on Switch with the Beat em up bundle. While Code has the ability to level and to unlock everybody in a quickplay setting, that's really only good if you already love the genre.

I've been enjoying it in short bursts, and I know I'd be playing it a lot less if I had to switch the cartridge out every time. But that wasn't an option when I bought mine. Being that it's the same price I would get the physical copy, since having a case and cartridge is always more special than digital.

Why do you think it will go on sale soon? Some games never go on sale, and some only go on sale once or twice a year (a $30 game wouldn't be on sale for $7 though) If you want to play it now then let yourself get it, and then conveniently ignore the price if it ever does go on sale :lol:

I wouldn’t assume to think they would match runner3 for $7 , maybe $15-20(50% max discount )..(..that sale was surprisingly good)

but I Do think it will be on sale because almost every developer does have eshop discounts st some point,one time at least, no?

I don't know what channels will be left when the Wii Shop Channel shuts down, but you probably want to download the Wii U Transfer channel ASAP. Even though the shop is shutting down, you can still do a transfer until further notice.

 
I haven't been on this sub in a minute, but it looks like you can buy Switch games from the Nintendo website as long as you have a Nintendo ID.  Is that the case, or do you actually have to own a Switch to do so?  I know that I was unable to buy 3DS and Wii U games without having those systems.  Has that changed?

Once you buy the download goes straight to the Switch system associated with that account. Also works for the 3DS. If setup in standby mode or if it's on will start downloading.

I'm fairly positive both games are on the cart. Every listing I've seen for the EU version specifically states Physical and none of the art has any "Download required" note anywhere on it. Still It would be nice to get a confirmation that no download is required.

I did a little googling and CoL is 2.1GB and Valiant Hearts is 1.451GB... so both should fit on a 4GB cart. Also both games use the same engine so it's possible they could have truly combined the games to make it even smaller.

I would probably buy this day one if it wasn't a ubisoft title. I don't see why anyone buys ubisoft games at release when they usually drop 50% within 3 months. Who knows, maybe that will be different since this is a BB exclusive.

 
Thoughts on Phantasy Star? I was thinking of grabbing it here (only $6) versus playing it on an emulator because it seems to have some QoL improvements.

It plays incredibly well, and the in game map system is a HUGE boon. Ages mode has less encounters as far as battles, but ads more exp when you do fight, so it's not as much of a grind. I play original mode myself, and it's just as awesome as back when. Easily worth the 5.99

It plays incredibly well, and the in game map system is a HUGE boon. Ages mode has less encounters as far as battles, but ads more exp when you do fight, so it's not as much of a grind. I play original mode myself, and it's just as awesome as back when. Easily worth the 5.99
