I really need release dates for CrossCode and Hollow Knight: Silk Song.

Yeah those two games are the ones I want most that have been announced thus far. Funny thing was before the indie direct where Cross Code got announced, that game was my most wanted indie on the switch. So since I got my wish, here is my wish for this direct:

Please announce Battle Brothers on the Switch! I also wouldn't mind getting the Slay the Spire DLC.

Well I got the 225 for my old switch. Presently downloading my entire system worth of games again. The transfer was incredibly easy to do and I was able to do it right there in the store.

I had no clue they were giving an extra $25 for it. That makes it even more tempting if they are letting people xfer their stuff over to the new one.

So I'm assuming GS is now carrying the new version? Their website hasn't been updated yet.

Yeah you might want to call ahead first though. I went to 2 stores, the 1st didn't have any, the 2nd had several. The extra $25 was the only reason I did it. I also traded in MUA3, website said they'd give me $25 for it, actually ended up getting $35. All in all a surprisingly positive experience at gamestop for a change

Again, you never provided any proof to your claim that Nintendo violated FCC laws. After your claim of getting the new Switch, you quickly switched your argument to the joycons instead, which there was a FCC filing long beforehand which easily explains your possibility of getting the "new" ones.

So after about 2 weeks of you being quiet about your claim... you come back and all of a sudden boast that you were somehow correct by showing "proof" with an article that only allows people NOW to swap to the new switch IF they purchased the old one after the 17th AND contact Nintendo directly.

The other game that will probably be a day one buy is Ori. Outside of those two, I could be interested in most of the other games after seeing more game play footage.

At the end when they were showing games being released soon with dates, I noticed they omitted Cross Code and the Untitled Goose Game. Two games that are heavily anticipated and are supposed to come out this year. I hope they aren't behind schedule.

I just want Cat Quest II. Everything else I can wait on... but Cat Quest was both exciting and yet oddly relaxing. Loved that game. I just hope the sequel also gets a physical release.

There were some other solid looking games.  Freedom Finger had a rocking soundtrack and some innovative ideas for a shmup.  The Touryst looked very interesting though I typically don't like games by Shinen (usually pretty graphics but meh gameplay).  So I'm cautiously interested.  Earth Night, with it's running on dragon backs and skydiving definitely has potential.  I'll keep an eye out for reviews/feedback as it screamed fun though it also looked maybe a bit too busy on screen.  It's nice to see the Hotline Miami games come over to Switch.  I already have them on PSN so I don't need them, but glad to see them anyway.

I must say, I don’t know if it’s any different coming off a fresh playthrough of the first game, but Hotline Miami: Wrong Number felt utterly miserable to play through.

Other than the cart thing, this kind of pricing goof is more common than you’d think. I see it crop up on Steam every now and then, for example.

Ori is such a great game.  It's one of my favorite games this gen.  It's just a masterpiece from start to finish.

I am curious to see how the performance is on Switch because the game looks like one of those games that requires a lot of power just due to it's art style and effects.  I played it on X1X and it was fantastic.

That’s not just rumor, that’s more like a common sense assumption based on how Nintendo has been handling the vouchers. Only way it wouldn’t happen is if Animal Crossing is delayed until Holiday 2020.

And of course, now I'll need some games. I did manage to pick up a used copy of Bayonetta 2 from our local game store, but the code for the first one was obviously used (boooooooo). Where's the best place/technique on picking up eShop credit on discount? I've worked up a small want list right now (Cuphead/Undertale/The Messenger/Gris thus far, along with a bunch of first-party titles). Thoughts/opinions on the best way to build a decent library on the cheap?

Thanks for posting this. I picked up Cat Quest for under 3 dollars. I also saw good deals on Hell Blade, Rock of Ages 2, and all of the Sega Ages games are under five dollars. In case anyone else is interested. Is there a way to track the prices on the Mexican store without having to just go through it slowly?

I use https://eshop-prices.com/ to track which eShop region has a particular game for the lowest cost, but you still need to either scroll through the giant list of games, or know specifically which games you want. The site defaults to local currency, but you can change it to show converted USD for all regions at the top of the page.

using eshop-prices.com and dekudeals.com you can track history and create wishlists to get notified of price drops.

I have a 2nd account for mexico on dekudeals so i can at least get notified of sales on the games i know i want. 

and this thread tends to have others that mention huge price drops in mexico.
