Yeah it sounds pretty great. I'm going to consider it but waiting to see what the Walmart price will be. IF I can save $10 or so it might be worth it as a supplement for the days I can't hit the track due to the weather/cold and don't want to just use my stationary bike and free weights.

I don't own the game but wanted to say your best bet for an answer is probably over on reddit somewhere like https://www.reddit.com/r/telltale/ where enough eyes might see it that have actually played this version of the game.

Yea, I unintentionally tried it last night. I was playing Puzzle Quest on the non-primary account, and the missus started Flipping Death on the other.

A Kotaku post said you couldn't, FWIW.

I read this article while I was at work this afternoon, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think that some simple games can actually be fun if you don't go in expecting too much, but it's sad that these types of games don't get enough review coverage in order to know whether or not they're worth it.

And it doesn't help that Nintendo doesn't allow you to purchase Switch games without owning a Switch. But I digress.

In other news, Nintendo Life reported that a new Wii U digital game was just released, so maybe the damn thing isn't completely dead.

Yeah, I was wondering if they would discount this like other new games, but I ended up just ordering off of Amazon. My son really wants this, and Walmart is pretty bad in regards to inventory for stuff like this, so I just opted to not take the risk. My nearest Walmart has tons of Labo and other "N" items they can't seem to move, so I just didn't think they would get many of these if at all. I haven't seen the Labo VR at this location since it launched, so they seem pretty set on not ordering a lot of stuff like this.

If I was you, I would just wait on this, as it's not going anyplace, and it may be pretty well discounted sooner rather than later. My son wanted to play it today of course, but if this was for me, I would have had no problem waiting and trying for a better price someplace like Walmart, or just waiting for the "no one is buying this" discount which is sure to happen down the road.

Nice, I held off on pre-ordering it online because I was curious if Wal-mart would take $10 off, glad to see it pay off. Gonna head out and get mine here in a bit.

Yeah, only two stores in my town show any, and they are way off the beaten path to say the least. This was my concern, as it wasn't worth my son missing out, just to save the possible $10. Of course I could have always gone to GS, Target or BB if Walmart fell through, but stuff like this is often limited at B&M locations, so better safe than sorry. I'll for sure be going to Walmart to grab his Luigi's Mansion, as they are sure to have tons of those.

 
Sorry in advance if I cause mass hysteria, but the Columbian eShop has The Return of the Obra Dinn for $1.86 USD. I have no clue how easy it is to buy from this eShop out-of-country. I checked it out with my secondary account, and it's just like the Argentinian eShop where you can only buy codes to redeem off their country-specific website. There's no local eShop on the Switch. I can only imagine this is a total price error, I think they missed an extra zero (price is 6,400.00 COP, should be 64,000 COP to be comparable to other countries' MSRP for the game).

It's not unusual for Walmart to stock games later than release day. That's why I posted the brickseek link. A store 30min from me is showing stock but my local stores don't have it... yet. I remember when Dragon Quest Builders 2 came out, I ended up having to wait a day or two before it was stocked.

Anything odd you had to do with respect to entering billing info/etc? I recall the Argentinian shop had a bunch of issues.

*edit* And that said, I don't understand a lick of the language, not sure how easily I'll be able to get this!

*edit 2x* it seems to want province/state information that would most likely not pass w/ my USA-based credit card. Have not attempted to pull trigger after looking at input form.

just use any random address from a hotel/office from Bogota, i used postal code 110111 and for identification personal use a number like this

X.XXX.XXX.XXX, my card is issued in Chile and has USD dollar international credit (or whatever is called) and did work perfectly, there's not checking so far

Big thanks to madmatt for the heads up on this. I was able to get it purchased the first time without issue (minus some Google-fu to fix in some of the blanks). Paying under $2 for a $20 brand new game? Why yes, I think I will.

 
Welp not working for the cards I have. I'm guessing there's not an easy way to add an eshop card or anything to a Colombian account?

US resident using US Credit Card that can also confirm this works, though I did not use dots or spaces for the ID number, just "1234567890" worked for me. Wouldn't let me add dots or spaces.

 
Don't even know what that game is but went ahead and bought it for under 2 bucks. Definitely wouldn't have otherwise, so thanks for posting! Went through first time for me, unlike the Argentina eShop.
 
This has turned into the worst thread since you people discovered regional pricing. I don’t even care about the “ethics” or whatever, but the thread clutter and begging whenever a new find comes up are atrocious.

The begging I agree is a bit much but to say discussing these deals are "clutter" is ridiculous.
It's already been addressed. A deal is a deal. Just ignore the stuff you don't want to read.

 
Thanks for the heads-up on Obra Dinn. Took many tries, but finally got a purchase to go through for a single code.
I wasn't successful in getting any additional codes, so please don't ask. I might try again later this weekend.

Did anyone get any gold coins from redeeming the Obra Dinn code? I made sure to switch back to the US region before redeeming.

I'm really loving Ring Fit Adventure after picking it up and doing a session yesterday. I set my difficulty to intense (one step down from the highest) and after finishing the first area and facing Dragaux for the first time, I was a sweaty mess and honestly for about 5 or 10 minutes I felt like I could puke. There's a casual difficulty too if that sounds like a bit much. The game also calibrates your strength and jogging pace when first started.

I would recommend it, and I'm actually looking forward to playing it again. Doing squats sucks, but when doing them lets you attack a giant dragon, it's somehow more bearable. For anyone hesitating because of a game backlog, don't look at it as adding another game to your list to beat, and instead look at it as adding an exercise routine to the day. It's not really a game meant to be beaten, and you'll not be playing it for hours on end. One short session a day is enough.

I read that early on you do a lot of squats. Too many. But after a while, you unlock other moves and it balances out. Keep with it. Get in shape. Yay.
