You must not have read all my posts. The first thing I did was put it in my laptop to see if it was just the Switch. Laptop confirmed that there was only 17MB left. Anyway, I decided to just format the card and now my space is back and I haven't noticed anything different. Went to the redownload section of the eshop and everything is fine. Again, I do not want a 128GB card. I am never going to need anywhere close to that amount of space as I am not a big fan of digital and it keeps me from spending on games I won't be playing for a long time anyway.
I don't really read your posts because you always ask for help and never seem to take the advice people give you. Didn't even quote your stubborn, ignorant ass that time. Seen you bitch about something and then get pissy when offered solutions dozens of times now. Have fun with that 8GB that you refuse to upgrade, just like the computers you refuse to upgrade.

Very mature with the name calling. I do take advice people give me as long as it's objective. Hating on laptops is not objective. I did take the advice and formatted my SD card. You must be dealing with something in your life and feel the need to lash out at people here. No need to exaggerate with the dozens of times though but if it makes you feel better then go for it.

8gb is really tough since even physical games have patches/updates and some of them can eat some serious space.  I got my 128gb official card from bestbuy during a sale for like $15.  Seemed worth it.  64gb would be worth it too just to have some wiggle room when you try to play a game again and it suggest downloading an update.  My guess is that is where all your space went.  It wasn't the games downloaded but updates from physical releases.

Makes sense. I'll definitely get a better card if I run into this problem again.

I have a 400GB card and I have to delete things to make room. I want a 1TB card, but they are still too pricey for me.

Dang! You have A LOT of games! I am a physical gamer so I only buy digital if it's really cheap or there is no physical version. Most of my digital games are all ones that are on sale for like $0.03-$1.50. The only "real" game I purchased digitally was the Messenger because it was super cheap on the Mexican eshop as a pre-order. I think I bought it for like 4 bucks.

Smart move on going physical games especially on the Switch.

I am almost all digital on all game systems this generation. I have all the big N games I was interested in digital. I do have a few carts for games my family plays. I think it would have been wiser to go with carts on the Switch since space is so limited on the system.

The other option is just delete stuff you are done with.  Saves don't disappear and it's pretty easy to re-download stuff to the point that they give you a link at the bottom of the full list of what you have installed.   On my regular switch I have a 128gb card... my switch lite I don't even have a card in it yet and just limit what is installed (games I want to only play portable or demos I'm interested in and then delete).

Free Game Alert:

FunBox Party by Drageus Games is currently if you one one of several select titles by the publisher.

I'm not saying the game is any good, but it's free at the moment if you own one of several other Drageus Games titles.

Thanks, was able to snag. Looks like they are still doing massive discounts on other games if you own one. Genetic Disaster shows as $14.99 initially but if I go through to check out it actually rings up at $3.23 (as an example but also an example of a game I don't remember having said sale before). Didn't check every game but every game I checked had a discount at checkout.

Yes. I bought it from a recent Amazon sale. It’d alright... kinda wordy and man is the writing dense but they have a fast forward button for dialogue?!

It’s okay 3/5
Reviews have been all over the place, but I love Level 5 so I think I'm going to grab it.

This game is honestly the worst game I played in the Switch (and I am a very open person). After literally 1 minute, I removed it.

Ring Fit Adventure has been coming in and out of stock at Target for a few days. I signed up for in-stock alerts on the webpage a couple months ago, and they've been sending me in-stock alerts recently. Was able to grab one this morning and it already shipped. FYI for anyone still searching for it.

Edit: Interestingly, it looks like the Walmarts around me may have them in stock as well, and they were out of stock for months too. Showing Limited Stock for three Walmarts in my area. Here is the link to check your Walmarts.

I've played Snack World for about maybe 23 hours or so. I find it pretty fun, plays alright portably and is very light. I think it's a more lighthearted game and is decent. It does get challenging for multiple hard enemies and some bosses. I liked it at about the 7/10 level. Nothing groundbreaking but fun and has that Level 5 charm.

I noticed that the mummy game that way forward did was half price, and that doesn't seem to go on sale very often. I think I paid about $8.85 for it during a recent trip to Mexico.

Thanks for the input, probably would have been worth it to wait for a sale in the $25 range, but got a $35 card from Amazon with 15% cash back offer going on so seemed like a good enough deal.

Nintendo first party stuff should be good. I recommend Mario Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild. If she's a strategy geek Fire Emblem 3 Houses is good. There are a lot of indie games that are worth playing. I like Slay the Spire myself, but there is good stuff like One Step From Eden. I think if you give an idea of what types of games she likes like a category it would help. Mario and Zelda appeal to a lot of people though. If she likes Animal Crossing but wants a bit of meatier gameplay I recommend Rune Factory 4 Special. It's still one of my favorite farming/adventure games.
Just wanted to say thanks and good call on Rune Factory 4. She got it in the sale (even though it was only 10% off) and was a bit confused at first, but now is loving it.

Not sure if everyone here has heard the news, but Duke Nukem 3D: Anniversary World Tour is coming to the Switch. It will feature gyro controls, hd rumble, online play for up to 8 players, new music from the same composer, a new episode from the same developers and new lines by Duke himself, Jon St. John.

It's out in about a week, June 23rd. Pre-order till then and it's 50% off ($4.99). As you can probably tell, I'm hyped!

DQ Builders 2 just seems like a game that should've launched at $40 anyway. Waiting for that sweet $20 mark. Hat in Time is holding its price firm

Really looking forward to the new Pokemon Snap. I think my 4-year old will love it. Incidentally, my son is named after a good friend of mine who passed away 10 years ago. He and I were briefly addicted to the original Pokemon Snap in college so it's going to be one of those weird full circle moments when I play it with my son. I definitely won't cry.

You have a much better chance to get that price on a physical copy. Nintendo co-publishes the game and has a say on when and how much the digital version is discounted, and their say is “not much” in both cases.

Best case scenario for digital would be $30 under exceptional circumstances, like Octopath Traveler recently.

I’m way more excited for this than I probably should be. [emoji28]

Who's excited for Let's Go Johto?
Patiently waiting for pokemon snap preorder on Eshop. My voucher expires next month!!!
I doubt it'll be a full-priced title.
Hyped nonetheless. Trailer looked good and Pokemon spin-offs (that aren't for mobile) are usually pretty good.

Fwiw, the Switch additions are just the gyro controls and the HD Rumble. Otherwise, it's the same as the other versions (though surprisingly cheaper).

I don't think I've been this excited for a game announcement since the first Breath of the Wild trailer. I have been dreaming of Pokemon Snap on Switch. Can't wait to see what dumb collector's edition Nintendo tricks me into buying.

I know this is eShop deals but seeing how it's hard to find I figured I'd post here.  Ring Fit Adventure technically in stock at Amazon (although its backordered).  It did let me order and it says they'll be in stock June 19, so best to reserve now if you can.

Edit:  Looks like they're all gone.

Agreed that if you want ring fit and stopped looking, you should absolutely start looking again. Retailers seem to be getting a pretty consistent trickle of them in almost daily.

Mine arrived today from an order on Best Buy that I had to try to submit about 20 times as it was showing in stock/in store only and then out of stock when trying to check out. I would have posted here but by the time I made it through check out it was just showing out of stock.

Anyone play Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom? I played the demo and it was pretty fun. Just don’t wanna buy it if it’s really short.

It's a really great game, if you like the demo then you'll like the full game. Also, it actually takes 20 hours to beat it, plus more if you want to 100% it.

I don't usually complain about game prices, but the pair of Darius Cozmic Collections are obscenely overpriced.
And the Console edition is only 124 MBs in size! Talk about a small amount of content for $60. I guess they are charging what you would have to pay to get the actual games individually on ebay or something?

I still want to get this when it is on sale at some point. No way am I spending a premium on a small amount of retro Shmups. Darius Twin is my favorite of the games in this collection and I already have that on my SNES mini so I am good for now.

Part of it is that they are pricing it compared to the physical Japanese releases, and part of it is that these are (supposedly) great ports done by M2. Individual game ports by M2 in the SEGA AGES series are $8 each. Compare that to the Sega Genesis Collection with dozen of shitty ROMs dumped on a cute front-end UI menu, with each game priced in cents, not dollars. Also of note is that Darius games are rather niche titles, so that sadly is factoring into the price. I think they are also getting physical releases in North America, which usually ends up keeping the digital price up higher than it might otherwise if there weren't a physical release. I'm not trying to argue any of these, just explaining why I am not surprised by the pricing. I will say that I feel M2 and Hamster should be getting paid accordingly for their work on porting old games, as we know full well that a lot of old game ports not done by M2 and Hamster lead to laggy garbage ROM dumps, which are usually priced accordingly, which makes people think M2 and Hamster ports should also cost pennies.

If these two Darius collections were $20 or less each, I'd have them bought already, but the prices do give me pause. I have thought many times over the past year+ about importing the physical games from Japan, and then later thinking about buying them off Japanese eShop, but now I'm glad I didn't. I'll probably end up buying these at "full" price off the Mexican eShop, or if I don't just holding out for a future sale. The publisher ININ Games (https://www.dekudeals.com/games?filter[publisher]=ININ+Games) is fairly new to Switch, so they've never had a sale on their titles, so no way of knowing if these Darius collections will even ever see a sale.

Very good points you bring up there. I am really only interested in Darius Twin at this point. I am not a huge Darius fan. If i can get my hands on a physical release I may do that just so I feel like I am getting something tangible for the high price.

So I am contemplating purchasing Pandora's Tower on the Wii U digital shop (it's hard to find a physical copy in the wild that is not way overrpriced).  It's never gone on sale and I don't think it likely ever will.  My Switch eshop account is linked to my Wii U shop account.  I have a bunch of gold coins I would like to use but it does not seem like I can use them on the Wii U digital shop.  If I purchase the game on the Wii U shop will I lose my gold coins that I have earned for a future switch digital purchase?  On the switch eshop when it shows the game listing it says the purchase is eligible for gold coins.  Anyone know how this works?  Thanks in advance for any advice.
