PT Barnam had it right. At this point, I'm wondering if Nintendo is hiring 5 year olds to do their games. Because this game must have only took a few minutes to code... tops. Lunch break game. If this is what's happened to "Nintendo Quality" I think I'll pass.

Now, I did get the new Kirby game and am amused as hell.

I would say avoid it on Amazon. Buy it from Best Buy.

Amazon's stock system is easily gamed, so they store the third party fake stuff with the real stuff, so it becomes a crapshoot.

Always purchased on Amazon unless a super good deal from BB. Always had the real deal. Just don't buy from Joe Blow just launched sellers with insane prices.

That's not the issue. If the third party has, say, fulfilled by Amazon, the stock gets mixed. Returns also get mixed.

Just price match Amazon at Best Buy. Same price, and guaranteed to not be fake.

 
elasser123 is right.  There are articles out there how FBA stock gets mixed with Amazon's own stock and if some FBA sellers are pushing fakes then you have a chance to get one even if you order direct from Amazon.

Just stick with a normal known retailer such as Best Buy if you want to not have to worry about it.

 
Fallout Shelter is coming to the Switch eShop tonight, which was just announced at their E3 show.

They're also bringing Elder Scrolls Legends to Switch this Fall, which will let you bring your progress from the mobile/PC versions over to it.

The Switch getting all these AA action Jrpgs like Tales, Y's, etc. are great. I had them on PS4 but thankfully sold them before committing and bet they will perform great since they aren't too technically demanding.

Can anyone say sushi striker is worth 50 bucks? I didn't see that coming and it does not strike me as being that level of a game.

I’m enjoying it. It seems like there’s a lot of content and the absurd anime style is pretty entertaining if you’re into that. $30-40 would have felt better but it’s clear that a lot of love went into making this game. The system seems simple but it continually adds more strategy. It’s more than just a matching puzzle game.

This is not a game for everyone though so I would definitely try out the demo first.

Yeah the switch is going to get a ton if use with all the rpgs now. Love it, perfect size screen for them. (Im 100% handheld)

I agree it's a bit absurd sometimes. That being said, I am very close to deciding to sell my PS4 Pro and all of my PS stuff along with it. That revenue will greatly offset the cost of games on a system that I regularly play instead of one that hasn't been powered on in a few months.

I don't believe it was anything substantial, but when in doubt, don't buy games at full price the day before a big Nintendo event.

Buying Starlink at this point. It's a typical Ubisoft collectathon but having an Arwing model that I can strap some stupidly big plasma cannon or missile launcher to sound too good to resist.

I'm not against the toy... but I won't buy any game that relies on toys to play.

 
I'm glad they are doing another Octopath Traveler demo.  I'm not that hyped for it based on the first demo... but I'm all for giving it a second try.

I know Smash is a big deal, but do we have to go through every single character, twice? Im guessing there will be no more game announcements?

Totally get it, they officially announced everything can just be purchased digitally. Don't know if there's a discount if you skip the figure but at least it's an option. Also switch effectively add content permanently so you aren't lugging around a bunch of times to use different loadouts. That said, I bet it's less than optimal because otherwise people could just trade and have everything with no investment but we'll see the details later.

Presentation was short and OK. I can't hate a game that has 300 dollars in content for 60 bucks but still disappointed in the lack of new content. Otherwise only Fire Emblem looked like a heavy hitter other than already leaked Fortnite. Still, as a second and more family friendly console the Switch is already showing better support than Wii U. Hope there's a decent amount of new stuff still unannounced for this year though.

 
Not a ton announced, but the Xenoblade DLC looks pretty meaty, so I may pick that up.  Fire Emblem also looks really, really pretty. Really wanted to see something on the upcoming No More Heroes, but oh well.

While I probably won't pick up Super Mario Party, the use of two Switches looked really interesting.

 
Fire Emblem looks good but that's Spring 2019.  I don't care about Super Mario Party.   Daemon X Machina (2019) looks interesting... I want to know more.  Well... I guess this is probably really good for my wallet that so little new was announced.  I'm definitely getting SSB Ultimate as my kids will go bonkers for it.   I'm not sure on anything else.  I still need to play the Wiiu Captain toad to see if I want to upgrade.  The Octopath Traveler Demo #2 will be tried... maybe I'll change my mind and I'll get it.  I just didn't care for the story or the battle pacing of the first demo.  I still need to decide on the update to TWEWY too.  Overall, I don't really need more games... but... I still was hoping for some Metroid Prime 4 news or something unexpected.

 
Fortnite is available, but FYI: If you ever used your Epic account to play on PS4 (like I did), you cannot use the same account on the Switch. it doesn't matter if you unlink PlayStation Network at https://www.epicgames.com/account/connected. If your Epic account was ever used even just once on PS4, it forever prohibits you from using it on the Switch. So goodbye progression/skins.

I personally only got the free skins from Twitch Prime so it doesn't affect me much, but still. That's pretty lame.
