I'm a huge Nintendo fan and sold my NES-N64 consoles and games when I was younger. Obviously regret it now and purchased them again. Some games like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask appeal to me because they are in their original cartridge for their original console. I already have the remakes for the 3DS and both of them on Wii VC. Think it's a waste of money to get them again?

Personally? Probably but I care less about having old consoles I'll never play again or even keep out. If you're actually going to go back and play it or even place value in the collecting or displaying of it that's different. If there's value in it to you then it's no less wasteful than how most of us but current games we'll never even play.

I'm a huge Nintendo fan and sold my NES-N64 consoles and games when I was younger. Obviously regret it now and purchased them again. Some games like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask appeal to me because they are in their original cartridge for their original console. I already have the remakes for the 3DS and both of them on Wii VC. Think it's a waste of money to get them again?

Honestly I would get the Gamecube collectors versions of those 2 games. There is a Ocarina of Time disk that has a Master's Quest on it and you can play it with Gamecube controllers on either the Wii or Gamecube. Sounds like you may still have a Wii at your house and that would save on space but still give you a much better experience then that horrible Wii VC....

The Master Quest disc is fine, it even has increased resolution. Collector's Edition Majora's Mask is supposed to have a few known emulation issues, especially with the sound, along with random crashing. He'd probably be better off with an original N64 version, or Wii VC for it.

Personally? Probably but I care less about having old consoles I'll never play again or even keep out. If you're actually going to go back and play it or even place value in the collecting or displaying of it that's different. If there's value in it to you then it's no less wasteful than how most of us but current games we'll never even play.

I'll definitely have the console out and plugged, and will make every attempt at playing them. My friend is selling them for $40 total, so it's a good price. I guess I just feel funky about having the fame across 3 different consoles but having the original is really enticing to me.

That's why it wouldn't let me buy it, I don't have a WiiU linked on my account. I think the error I got or the page it linked to even said as much.

So, yeah, this isn't like PSN (or XBL) where you can buy games even without having any systems tied to your account. I guess that's good for them or people would just register a bunch of accounts and get all of these free gold coins.

NoA is terrible. Censhorship & now the delay Severed with no warning. I had been looking forward to that game for a while, declined to buy for Vita on sale, don't have a Wii U, and these sorry excuses for Nintendo Gamers once again screw us out of something that everyone else gets (I realize they make money off of us, but they are not us). I really wish there was a way I could stop them from benefitting from my purchases. Maybe importing everything from the UK that I MUST play, & stick to ps4 & x1? Yup I remember someone asked for a sale on Code of Princess, which is how it got on my radar. Wouldn't have considered it otherwise. Good, tempting sale price on it, though part of me wants physical copies for nintendo games. So framerate holds up on 3DS huh. I have a few more days to decide.

I kept waiting for this to go cheaper, but for the last year or more, this is as cheap as it seems it will ever get. I finally bit the 1st day of this sale. I am very picky about framerate & graphics, but I find the critics blew the issues WAY out of proportion (unless it gets way worse). As others here said, it does skip some frames sometimes, but I can still play it & be immersed. It has tons of characters, but it can get repetitive. Surprisingly good for a 3-4year old game. I only buy titles with 3D, and it has good 3D, too. Final Fight 2 & 3 were released on VC this week, if you like this type of game, Code of Princess is a much better buy at the sale price.

Yea I'll be honest. I actually haven't started it yet because after work and other adult responsibilities when I do have the time to play I'm tired enough that I'm afraid I will fall asleep in those first hours of the game.
