I don't know what the sales price is, but I paid full price for it on the Vita, and it was worth it. So any kind of discount is just icing on the cake, awesome game!

I'm conflicted.. It's $10 on PSN and cross buy, $16 on Switch, or $32 at BB for Switch physical.. I could have it on Vita/PS4 for $10 (or $24/$16 on PS4 physical with GCU)

Kinda wanting it on Switch, and would prefer physical.. but $10 on PSN... And all the multiverse edition stuff doesn't really entice me enough.. If it was the same price as the PS4 multiverse.. i'd have already bought it.

I waited originally on the Vita version, which was delayed by about a year. Launch week it was supposed to be 20% off I believe for the year long delay. Something went wrong when it was posted, and the discount wasn't up yet, so I bought it full price the first day anyway. I had waited so long, I said to hell with the discount. LOL

Plus the games creator has a son with severe medical issues, so I figured it was win/win paying full price, for a good cause. I recently bought the Multiverse edition for the Vita, and got a copy free due to Amazon's poor ass packaging. And I'm also going to try and grab that version for the NS as well, but just hoping for a slight price drop, as it's $10 more than the other options.

It's an awesome game, and until Samus Returns came along this year, it was better than anything "N" had done "Metroid" wise in ages. And for what was pretty much a one man team, it deserves the support.

In my opinion it's well worth full price. This price is great. I just beat the game today and will be playing through it again sometime soon.

I'm also really glad I grabbed Cat Quest, I've been playing it the past 4 hours or so.

Yeah, this morning my son was trying to use a code on the e-shop and we saw it was down. I told him it's Christmas morning, and there are tons of new NS owners, and their site probably couldn't take the weight. Online games still seem to work OK, so just the e-shop is down. Which I guess sucks if no one got any physical games with their systems. Oh well, better luck tomorrow I guess. LOL

Yeah, it's always best to have gifts like that set up, charged, and ready to go Xmas morning. That way your not dealing with what you see today. Also testing before hand to make sure everything works 100%. So that way you aren't stuck making a return for an item that might be sold out.

If you are new to Wii U get Mario 3D world one of the best ever. Also Mario kart 8, Nes remix and pikman 3 are awesome and cheap.

AV is a Metroidvania type game, so not really hard platforming, so much as back tracking. SK is a mixture of many different old school games, and much more of a platformer, with higher difficulty(you will die, a lot).

I played AV from start to finish without a break when I first got it, as it was way cool. Shovel Knight I haven't officially finished, but I love it maybe more than Axiom, as it's just so well made. And the content just keeps coming. So I would say SK may be the better value, but AV is an amazing game as well.

Both are among the best at what they're trying to do with Axiom Verge as a Metroid-style game with way more unique weapons and Shovel Knight as a Super Mario Bros. 3/Mega Man/Castlevania-style action platformer. The only real difference is that Axiom Verge is half the price of Shovel Knight right now, at least on PS4. Shovel Knight has three campaigns with the fourth coming in the near future, so it'll get you a good chunk of content for the price.

I owned Shovel Knight for awhile on PS4 and never played it but just bought it this morning on the Switch. I don’t know what took me so long to play it, the game is really fun and addicting.

Axiom Verge is the best metroid game since Super Metroid.

Shovel knight (Currently) features 3 campaigns, each utilizing most of the same assets but feature unique gameplay, and a 4th and final campaign is on the way, free for existing owners.

Both are masterclass. I only wish I knew for certain that Shovel Knight was getting a physcial release or not down the road. I expect one after the release of the final campaign.

Well, already am getting Breath of the Wild with the bundle — by far my most desired game. But loved Bayonetta. So, right now I ordered Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8 and the Super Mario Bros U/Super Luigi bundle from GameStop as part of their B2G1 deal. Planning on getting Mario 3D World digital and also want to get Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Looking at all this I’m anxious to get my hands on it, but may not come until next week depending on how quick they ship it.

Definitely keep in mind NES Remix and Pikmin. But those listed are my most wanted so far and will keep me plenty busy (along with my Xbox One and PS4 backlogs).

EDIT: You'll have to throw a couple bucks from paypal in with it or get another eshop card. I thought it was sub $10 but it's just over.
