Nintendo Power Magazine - $3.99 (1 Year)

Not sure yet. Nobody who ordered from the first post back in January has received their magazine yet. It has been over six weeks now. I guess per their website, I have to give them up to two more weeks to deliver.

Well, I got a full year's subscription (just received my last magazine). It takes 2 to 3 months to receive the first magazine, but it's legit.
 
I bought in early-November for my son. He missed 2 issues. I called Nintendo Power directly adn they indicated that they had received the subscription from BestDealMagazines.com on February 4 and he had missed 3 issues. They are able to send 2 of the 3 missing issues.

BestDealMagazines.com is legitimate, but is very slow. I am planning on buying another year to his subscription as soon as next copy arrives from BestDealMagazines.com and extending this subscription that runs out in Niovember. I figure that is plenty of time to process and get the cheapy deal.
 
They're safe, they just take forever (although not quite as long if you're re-subscribing). They're just like the dealers on eBay. It's a great way to get mags cheap if you don't mind the wait.
 
Yo guys, I jumped on this back in January for the new years sale. Still have yet to receive magazines yet (althought the say 8-10 weeks for subscription to start).

However, two weeks ago I got my bank statement in the mail and my card number had gotten stolen. I was being charged for online dating services and porno sites. Probably over about $230 in charges. Needless to say, immediately cancelled the card and got the money refunded. Not for sure if it was this site, but this was my first purchase online using a half-reputable site.

I looked at the previous thread and didn't see anyone else saying their card was stolen so I'll just start the reporting here. Maybe if this has happened to anyone else we can figure it out.

I bit. My subscription ran out a few months ago and I've really missed the magazine. Sure, it's a little bit biased toward Nintendo-made products, but there's also just that certain charm about the magazine.

I just received my first issue as well. I also got oxm for cheap too, but I have yet to receive that magazine. Hopefully, next month!;)
 
Got my first issue last week (April 08).

I noticed however that it says my my subscription ends Feb 09, which means I'm missing two months worth of issues. Was a great deal so I'm not sure if I want to bother calling up Nintendo Power to get my missing issues, but having to wait 3 months for a truncated subscription is pretty bogus.
 
When they redesigned the magazine a couple of years ago (or so) they really turned it around. They'll never be the best mag around since they only cover Nintendo, but I really like it. Their main issue is the lack of scoops, although the story about the Sonic RPG was nice. So hopefully more scoops in the future, but...
Get the sub. It's good, now.
 
Got my first issue last week as well, April 08, ordered back in January (12mos / $3.88).

Even if the subscription says it ends Feb 09, it's still a good deal.

Incorrect. I've had a subscription since the NES days, and it's always 12 issues a year.

Just as a word of warning I ordered this back in December from them and I still have not received a single issue of NP....

On the other hand I did recieve the other magazine I ordered (non VG mag.)...so perhaps it is hit or miss....I did them both in the same order so the shipping info and everything else I sent to best deal mags was the same for both of them.

I placed my order on January 1st. 6 magazines for $25.

I finally got my first issue of Nintendo Power today. It was the last of the 6 magazines I ordered to arrive.

1 of them started in February (I actually received Feb. & March on the same day), 3 started in March, 1 in April and NP finally started with the May issue. Annoying but it was cheap.

I also ended up getting another magazine that I didn't order. Being as those 6 are the only magazines I've ordered with my P.O. Box. I don't know if it was a freebie or the publisher of one of the magazines I did order threw it in for free. If so the 7 for $25.

Madness! But I can blame my ignorance on being out of the country.
 
An odd side note to my previous post.

I received the APRIL issue of Nintendo power last week. AFTER receiving the May issue.
 
Standard practice. They send you an old issue to clear out their old crap and knock one off of your subscription. If you call to complain, they will most likely credit you an extra issue or two.
 
I just got my Nintendo Power from this deal that I ordered back in January... Do NPs not longer have posters in the middle? Or did we get a cheaper non poster version of the magazine....

I dunno if you still care, but they sell special issues that are just posters - I think it's 40 posters for $10? A lot of them actually look good, and there are several Apollo Justice and Okami ones.
