It's just Nintendo's way of saying: 'You have bought quite a few of these, so here's some new packaging for you'.
They've been around for a while. Nothing different about them (besides packaging)...not even the price.

The red cases are obviously Mario-only games. Nintendo did have "Touch Generations," where the games were advertised at $20.
