Nintendo Switch Online Family Plan - Is there a catch?

I was looking into pricing and planning ahead and the family plan is $34.99 for 8 accounts. That's dirt cheap, is there a catch to the family plan? I'm very tempted to just split it 8 ways.

Why do we need multiple accounts on one Switch?

No catch. Just one person makes a master account and adds 7 people ny their Nintendo switch user id. That person will get an email with the invitation. They join and that's that.
