First day I turned on the Xbox One, I had my Motorola cable box plugged into the HDMI input. I can watch tv and change channels just fine. But my Marantz SR-5006 receiver isn't listed in the hardware menu, and I got no audio that day.
Ironically the next day, the audio WAS working. But then the third day it wasn't. I've tried setting the HDMI settings manually or auto, setting stereo or 5.1... Both in the Xbox One or Cable box settings. And no, the BETA option hasn't made any difference.
Anyone else had the same problem? Am I missing something? Games and system sounds ALL work. It's just the cable box audio that is the issue.
