I know you said your really looking for the newer pokemon cards, but what about the cards from the first set, jungle set, and team rocket set. I have a lot of nice unplayed holos I would love to sell, just give me a pm if your interested in those oldies.

Prepster, I'm really only looking for newer cards right now, though if I decide I want any older ones in the future, I'll contact you.

I should note that I'm looking for cards for playing purposes, not for collecting. I'm not only looking for rare cards. If you have a large lot of common/uncommon cards to trade or sell, I may want them as well.

Please no Japanese cards. Also, no Legendary Collection cards, as they seem to just be reprints from the older sets.
 
Well then, all my rares are listed there. Didn't know you didn't want Japanese cards... oops.
I also have a Box O' Commons n' Uncommons (tm) that I can send towards one of the games of interest or sell for a fair price.
I've been collecting this stuff since I was in middle school, so I have a lot I can trade or sell to you. If interested in specific commons/uncommons, let me know that as well.
 
I have a serious shitload of Pokemon cards, probably more than I even know about. I think they're from the earlier Pokemon TCG days. Do you have anything to say?
 
OP I have a buncha pokemon cards from the series1, fossil, and jungle sets. Any interest in those? I have a bunch of the promo cards and also 1st editions for fossil and jungle series. Let me know if interested.
 
i have ALOT of the first print sets, as well as a diglet error card (fist is printed sideways on the 1st attack move), and i have a holo mewtwo ..movie and non movie (first set), i have a bunch of first editions also, let me know, i have alot of these and if ur really intersted, ill go digging around for them
i kno i have some frmo the jungle, fossil, and i think a few gym trainer cards
 
Nice. I didn't think a request for pokemon cards would garner so much interest here. A few more points I should make:

The reason I'm not interested in cards from the older sets (Gym Challenge and earlier) is because I already have almost every card from them. I wouldn't mind having a couple more Pokemon Breeders, but that's about it. As far as older promo cards go, I believe I'm only missing the ones that were included as bonuses in Nintendo Power.

Again, I want these for playing purposes. I don't care about 1st editions, misprints, or holo versions of cards that have a more common non-holo equivalent. I'd prefer to get the cheaper edition rather than pay extra because the card is shiny.

As far as common and uncommon cards go, I would like to get a complete set of them for each series. It's not worth the trouble of picking out specifics.

It's cool; take your time. You've got dibs on everything on that list and the commons and junk sitting here in my study room.
Those cards are VERY time-consuming to go through.

I don't have any Pokemon Breeders though; I was hurting for those before I quit playing myself (Yu-Gi-Oh fandom has consumed the souls of the kids here, my stepbrothers included, and there's no one left to play against).

Looking forward to making some sort of a deal and coming a little closer to reclaiming those nifty tins to store something important in, like paper clips. :)
