I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

Went to TRU (Olympia, WA) this morning at about 8:15. The store and the video game department only had a couple people. I grabbed Pikmin 2 and had the sales person scan it to make sure of the sale. He was shocked at the price. I told him about the sale and showed him the list. I ran into another CAG person who was there too and we went through the store looking for games on the list. There were lots of Pikmin 2, Resident Evil 4, Romance X. No DDS. (went back around 6 and everything was gone) At the end, I gave the sales person the list to help others out. Here is my haul, all $10:

At first I didn't think I was even going to try to participate in this, but I drive by a TRU on the way to work (San Jose, CA) and I told myself if the place didn't look like a madhouse I'd poke my head in and see what there was to find. At just minutes after 8 AM the place looked not too bad so I gave it a shot. I was primarily interested in some of the GameCube stuff, and picked up Pikmin 2 (lots of those in the case, probably gone by now though?) and Metroid Prime (yeah, never played a 3D Metroid before). I looked for Wario Ware for the cube and just missed the last copy apparently, as someone else had one, but no others to be found. The other guy was kind enough to look with me to see if there was another copy but no dice. I would have also liked Zelda Four Swords but from what I read here that seems to be in heavier demand. All together there were four or five of us, I helped one guy find Super Monkey Ball 1+2 (I already own those), and everyone seemed nice enough and I didn't witness any hoarding.

If anyone knows of a TRU in the south bay area that might have the Wario for the cube I'd appreciate a heads up. I know there's several in the area and I don't want to run around like a chicken trying to check them all. I'm actually happy with getting the two games I got.

Well, shrike, old man, you're gonna be pissed at me as I was at the TRU near my mom's place & I saw 4 copies of them... 2 being snatched up by 2 separate sets of parents (obviously for their respective tykes) as I walked up to the video game area. I myself was able to pick up:

Times like that make me wish TRU enforced 1 per person, just for others than me. :evil:

For claritys sake - the 6.65 price is just a snafu depending on who rings you up. It just represents the lowest promotional price of the game within the last 30 days. If you had no receipt, you would get that much store credit. When i saw the person adjust my receipt, you see the 6.65 come up, and then the register asks the cashier to put in the receipt price.
For pikmins case, instead of 6.65, it comes up as 0.00 - because it is one of the promo games when you buy a gamecube.
So, if you get your price adjusted to 6.65, its just because the cashier is incompetent, so YMMV, and probably not even worth trying

i went to the same tru around 5 pm and was only able to grab the last copy of warioware. i got polarium for 10 bucks also, so i guess it turned out okay.
 
A question for those who managed to find digital devil saga:
what exactly is in the package? the box, and inside it... what? a sealed-by-itself copy of the game or not? what else? packaged separately? sealed?

I have the game used (traded intelligent qube for it IIRC... oh well, with another CAG so that's fine) and would like to know what I'm missing.

this is basically what i was told when i tried getting a price-adjustment. the girl working returns/exchanges seemed like she knew what she was talking about so i took her word for it.

You know, it's funny that there is a flood of all the games from the TRU sale but the hoarders are still making a profit from this... oh well, I guess they have nothing better to do.;-)

The limited box has:
Digital Devil Saga 1, sealed like a regular PS2 game
Cardboard insert that looks like the DDS 2 case
DDS 1 sountrack in plain white sleeve

That is about it...

I was there at 9PM and got the stuff I listed. They still had a bunch of Polarium but they were somewhat hidden.

But I am a TRU employee and these did in fact go into effect today, 12/22, and as for the adjustment policy if you bought it within a week before the sale/markdown, you can bring in the recipt and the item and get refunded the difference. Hopefully I'm not just repeating somebody else but I really dont want to read though all the pages. Also, I saw somebody mention that ALL the green tag games went down to $10 but it is actually just the majority of them. There are still a few that ring up green tag.

crappers, that info would have been helpful a couple days ago, albeit i would have to put alot of faith in the posted list.....least then i woulda had the games i quested for.
 
Well, DDS was gone although I didn't get out until 8:30 (PM that is). The guy said he had 3 and they were there forever but all sold today. Hope all that got them actually play and enjoy the game and don't buy it just for putting on EBay. I really wanted that one. There's one more TRU in the suburbs I'll try tommorrow.

I was able to get :

Golden Sun 2 for GBA
Sonic Adv Directors Cut + Sonic Battle for GC 2 pak (couldn't believe it was 2 whole separate games!)
Transformers for PS2
Resident Evil 4 for GC (they had stacks, like probably 40 or more in the rack)

and Rebelstar Tactical Command for GBA, it was $19.99 but I had the $5 off coupon from Nintendo Power so it was only $14.99


6 games $54.95 saving over $100 off retail. Merry Christmas to me.

I have a feeling no one cares... but hey I'm feeling decent so I'll post anyways.

Why would some of the games be $6.65? And what is this I keep hearing about a free Xbox controller? Also, some of the games I had rung up as full price with the word "PROMO" in the name. I didn't get them but would the price have changed after being totalled anyway?

And I went the day before Thursday to pick up some stuff early, and they had about 3-4 RE4's(GC) and about three(after I bought one) Pikmin 2's. I came back the next day and found that the stuff that had been there before(Excluding PS2 since I didn't look at those the first time around) was pretty much still there, but the RE4's and Pikmin 2's were coincidently both sold out. So I think we know what happened there.

It's a clearance sale. They sure won't order any more; but some stock from back rooms, other stores and such may turn up. It lasts... probably until the stock is cleared (which is probably today or tomorrow, for most titles, except some stuff like FF 1+2 which seems plentiful at some locations).

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls seems to be in abundance in Chicago. The Arlington Heights store practically begged me to buy them. I'd guess they had around 30 when I was there at ~2pm.

I've seen a bunch of BloodRayne 2, some scattered Doom 3, Alien Hominid, Ape Escape, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Wario Ware (GBA and Cube), Ghost in the Shell, Life Line and various DBZ games left late tonight in my area.

The Schaumburg TRU still has about 40 FF:CC from the last clearance that they can't sell, and I see some other decent previous clearance games scattered around as well.
 
I didn't have a chance to go today, er... yesterday (3 AM now). I doubt there'll be anything left worthwhile tomorrow, but I'll still head by and take a look. I managed to get a couple games online, too, so it's not a total loss or anything.
 
Well, I was able to get 10 games. I was surprised. The two TRU stores I hit in the morning were stocked. I got:
Death By Degrees, Haunting Ground, Dead 2 Rights 2, WWE Wrestlemania XXI, Metal Slug 4+5, Neo Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Tiger Woods PGA 2005, Killer 7, and Doom 3.

The first TRU had a lot of copies of RE4. They had a display case of FN R2 in the rack, but they were sold out. In addition, there were no PSP games, Tekken 5 copies, Psychonauts, and Conkers. I also saw Killzone, DBZ Sagas, Life Line, DW5, Alien Hominid, Pariah, Unreal Champ 2, Wario Ware, MKD, Pirates, Def Jam FFNY, and Pikmin 2. I want to go back and pick some of these games up, but I know the malls are going to be crowded today. Oh, I also had a twenty dollar off coupon for sixty dolLar purchases. I got DBD, HG, MS4+5, nc, NG, and D3 for a little over 40 bucks. :)
 
Went to two TRU's earlier and was surprised they had so many games. Came away with:
Samurai Western
Alien Hominid
Mr. Driller DS
Feel the Magic
Haunting Ground
Tenchu: Fatal Shadows
Pikmin 2
Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls
and King of Fighters: Maximum Impact

They also had a bunch of Killzone's and Death by Degrees at each one but I passed. Sadly neither had any PSP games, Tekken 5, DDS, Psychonauts, or RE4. I'm going to go to another tommorow and hope they have something.

Well, he said they didnt have "Squat". That term can mean both NO games, or a "crap"(as in what you do when you squat) selection of titles. (Which is what i'd call Darkstalkers)
