Do any of you guys think the Senran Kagura LE will sell out? I do have it pre-ordered but I'm cancelling it in favor of getting Smash on release.

The game comes out in two weeks and I don't think it's sold out anywhere yet plus I don't think you can buy a physical copy that isn't the LE. I'm keeping my pre-order but I doubt it's really necessary.

I believe that its only the le because its only getting a 1st print run, preordered to make sure I get it, forget smash that's easy to get anytime plus its better to wait for the wii u version, not happy with the controls plus its meant to run on the new 3ds which will get a smash bundle

They have said qty will be based on preorders recived, so they will fill those numbers with some extras, but this will run out at some point. That may be a week, month, or year, there is really no way to know for sure.

I personally don't "get" Smash Bros, so I have no issues there, but for anyone else, as it's been stated, Smash will be around forever, so I would go with the potential issues around this title and buy that instead.

Weird, everything when I looked a couple days ago said 9/30. Guess thats a good thing since i'm already picking up P4AU and Mordor today.

I've never seen an XSeed LE sell out in the preorder phase before. But they do tend to sell out relatively quickly after the game is released. Other than Killer Is Dead, which just apparently did horribly, I don't remember any of their recent LEs making it to price drops. I know Ys for the Vita definitely didn't.

GS had Ys Vita normal/CE for $10 off once or twice this year but that's it.

For those who bought the Titanfall CE on lightning amazon last night, gamestop is offering $13 for xbox one, $18 for 360.  Best Buy is $19 for 360, $21 for xbox one.  These are base TIVs before 10% pro/GCU bonuses (no other bonuses right now afaik).  

Mine already shipped and is arriving tomorrow, hope its not damaged

In fairness, the price difference is pretty large as well. They charge over $5 shipping for most games, so that's $15 over other retailers right off the bat for a stuffed animal. By the way, if anyone wants officially licensed larger size versions of the dog and other plushes, this company sells them through Amazon.

It's actually not a collector's edition of the game. It's a separate limited edition statue similar to all of the other limited edition statues various companies have been putting out for various video games over the years. Admittedly it's more expensive than any of those that I can think of.

That is a pretty big deposit. I think Sideshow only does like a 25 or 50 dollar deposit that you lose if you cancel.

Also that shipping rates being determined later is a bad sign.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 750 dollar statue if it was for my favorite game ever. What if the game comes out and it is just meh.

Yea it's the first time I heard of it too. Wasn't aware they had a collectors edition. The price seems kinda steep for my like so I'll probably be passing also it doesn't look they it comes with a steelbook and the statue doesn't really call my attention.

It was 20% off during PAX, I believe. I bought it then and wasn't terribly impressed. The Panzerhund looks better in pictures. I'd recommend holding out for $60 or less.
 
that game is not coming out at a good time, its going to be invisible between all the big titles like Assassins Creed, GTA 5 remastered, Call of Kevin Spacey, Dragons Age, etc.  Pretty surefire bet you'll see deep discounted prices on the CE a few months down the road.

I'm a superfan of a ton of stuff (as I suspect a lot of CAGs are), but I never understand why game companies expect people to pre-order expensive collector's editions and/or crazy expensive statues like this before ANY OF US have even played the game, especially for new IP. That Evolve statue and the huge Titanfall CE come to mind.

I guess some gamers buy/pre-order stuff like that, and all the power to them if they have the expendable income to afford it, but I guess it bugs me that they're basically betting on the fact that "game journalists" have hyped their game enough for us to spend so much money on it before it's even released.

 
Maybe to the statue collectors? If they exist.

I think some people geek out over the designs and get it for that. Could be artists buying it. I think statues (even though it is for a game) might have a broader appeal.
 
The Titanfall CE statue and that Evolve statue aren't really comparable.  That Evolve status is just shy of 4x the price of the Titanfall statue if you consider the Titanfall statue $190 since it came with the game for $250.

Yeah, still not sure what the audience is for something like that.  However, the game had a MASSIVE booth at PAX this year and got quite a bit of positive talk going around on the show floor.  Tons of people had a lot of positive things to say.  I did not get my hands on it, but I did end up with an interest in it.  Way back when I first got a look at it, it had this weird "free to play" vibe to it.  Probably because when it was announced, it was at the same time around a dozen other F2P FPS games were announced and it was guilty by association.

Watching it on the floor at PAX though, it looks pretty slick.  Oddly, it brings back memories of the old Splinter Cell multiplayer since it does a 1v4 thing.  I'm definitely excited to at least check it out.

$750 statue still does not compute though.

As for that Lord's of the Fallen CE... sign me up.  I just wish Best Buy would get the darn thing listed so I can bump my existing pre-order up to a CE.  I wonder if this ends up being an Amazon exclusive, or if Gamestop and Best Buy are just being slow?  Usually Gamestop is on the ball and Best Buy drags ass on just about everything interesting.

Yeah, still not sure what the audience is for something like that. However, the game had a MASSIVE booth at PAX this year and got quite a bit of positive talk going around on the show floor. Tons of people had a lot of positive things to say. I did not get my hands on it, but I did end up with an interest in it. Way back when I first got a look at it, it had this weird "free to play" vibe to it. Probably because when it was announced, it was at the same time around a dozen other F2P FPS games were announced and it was guilty by association.

Watching it on the floor at PAX though, it looks pretty slick. Oddly, it brings back memories of the old Splinter Cell multiplayer since it does a 1v4 thing. I'm definitely excited to at least check it out.

$750 statue still does not compute though.

well the game releases in only 3 weeks and the CE was only announced a week and half ago so who knows since it not much time to get a listing up especially best buy who still doesnt have a listing for Bloodborne CE and MH4 CE up yet after a month

Are you some kind of spammer? Why did you post a link to some sketchy Facebook page? Someone already posted this news yesterday and there have been multiple postings discussing it including a link to Amazon where the CE is actually being sold and where there is detailed info about the content.
