That's a tough thought. I paid $550 for the Halo Reach console and Legendary Edition. But then again, theyre two different items.

Maybe I'd pay $400 for a LIFE SIZE motorized and talking Claptrap. An actual fitting Master Chief helmet with all content and extra stuff. Maybe something Gears of War.

But like I said. It'd have to be something REALLY special.
 
I paid full price for my gears of war console and didn't regret it, because I sold off the codes and two controllers. Really made my console much more cheaper.

lol I actually got two brand new copies of the PS3 one for me and one for my cousin a month ago for $12 at GS
 
I see no issue with buying limited consoles as you get tons of use out of them. I love my LE ps4 but when it comes to game CE I don't know if there is anything that would make me spend over $200 let alone $400 for one.

Agreed, I was pretty surprised the LE PS4 actually included a vertical stand too. For $500 it was as complete a PS4 package as it could have gotten

 
Honestly, if they put out a definitive next gen release of all ME games + something cool relating to the game, I'd pay. That's the thing with this Borderlands collection: claptrap is super awesome to those who've enjoyed the series. He's been consistently awesome.
 
Quite surprised preorder is still up for the handsome collection.  Either the hype died down, a lot aren't aware of this or people want to avoid digital river.

Scalpers won't pay for something this expensive in full in advance. That's why in-store GS orders have lasted so long.

I want it, but don't like buying from places that charge the full amount up front for something that doesn't ship for 2 months. Holding out hope on Best Buy.. That would save 80 bucks at least

They're likely bringing the three games to the PS4 and XB1, from numerous random posts that have cropped up in the past few months about it. Especially since ME4/MENext will be PS4/XB1/PC only.

so i played borderlands 2 to death when it was released in 2012. i was an unemployed graduate then lol.

i played it on my xbox 360, and those saves cant transfer since i preordered the ps4 version.

BUT, on the upside, ive never played the presequel, so i still do get something out of this. not bad.. not bad indeed...

There are programs you can use to transfer your character. I transferred my character from Xbox 360 to steam with no issues. If you have a ps3 you could probably transfer your 360 character to pc and then to ps3 which would allow you to move your character to the ps4 version.

Mass Effect has sold several life sized weapons ranging from rifles to pistols for $750 each iirc.

 
Once we get into Collector's Editions that cost $200 or more your really buying a statue or some other type of collectors item that just happens to come with a game.

I've drooled over them repeatedly and then my wallet kicks me in the back of the head to remind me that's 1-2 consoles in cost. Then I let it go for a while. :drool:

Something scaled down from those replicas would be nice, though again, if ME did an expensive CE, I'd be curious to see what it is.

if they expire before the game release then the only way to use them would be to order online for either pick up or shipping. It will not work for a instore pre order pickup unless the certificates are still valid at time of pickup.

Or, you just buy something in-store with them, then return the item and the certs go back into your account after a couple/few days. Reissue the cert once the points are back in there and once you do, it's a fresh new cert.

Wow, surprised that Amazon out a limit on CE's. Hope this a trend to curb scaplers buying 99999999 copies without paying till shipping. Amazon listened to the masses for once.

Only the US has this problem with Mario Party 10 as Canada has this up for a day and a half with unlimited order amounts and ours can't last a couple hours

Canada doesn't have as many scalpers, plus since the Canadian dollar tanked, not a good business for scalping in Canada.

if it like super smash bundle probably won't on Amazon until release day then last 5 minutes. Out of curiously just checked ebay and Tons of listings now for $150 and up so looking like it heading into super smash bros kind of supplies if best buy and GameStop sells out fast to
