Just a heads up to others who ordered - I just got a cancellation e-mail from Best Buy on my Zelda New 3DS system telling me they oversold their allotment and giving me a $50 promo code.   I got my order in seconds before it ended up flipping to OOS on BestBuy.com so hopefully the rest of you who ordered will be ok.

Well shit...I just got a cancellation email as well but I put the order in right away so who knows. The free $50 in credit is nice but I would have liked the 3ds better. Oh well win some lose some. Thanks for the heads up.
 
Anyone think the type 0 CE will come back in stock at best buy? I don't know if I want to keep my square store pre order. Would definitely buy it from best buy with gcu.

Yeah, I got this too. Pretty bummed as unlike many others it seems I only ordered one for myself. The $50 code is nice but I was looking forward to the system...

 
Not sure why the Mario Party 10 bundle is selling so quick. I thought the Mario amiibo that came with it can be bought individually and will be pretty easy to find.

The Mario Party 10 amiibo of Mario is a timed exclusive to the LE of the game. And now days, anything that Nintendo labels as limited turns immediately into gold.

The whole amiibo thing seems like such a repeat of beanie babies, are there that many people really into it?  I may buy MP10 when its $5 on the eshop (I got it MP9 free from CN I think?) but who the heck is gonna pay $50-60 for it, just for a mario amiibo that will be available standalone for $13 in a few weeks/months... so weird.

Mario Party is a fantastic game in itself. One of the best couch co-op games ever.

It is the same Mario. You will save a few bucks rather than buying the game and Mario separately. Idk why ppl are freaking out like this is an exclusive amiibo that you can't get anywhere else. It's mario. It will be widely available. This bundled package will be limited, but products will still be available individually.

Remember the Smash Bros Bundle? People freaking out over a box? I'm sure the Mario Party bundle has a lot of the same people interested. It doesn't have to be about the Amiibo.

Its just crazy the demand for Borderlands vs. Saints Row.  SR4 did a $130 edition with only 5,000 made and it took Amazon over a year to get rid of them, and 3rd parties are still selling for below the SRP.

Glad I got one quick from GameStop. Did anyone else read that it has a camera built into it and you can view it from your smart phone? I hadn't seen many people mention it on here when going crazy over the price. This one is going right beside my original loot chest edition unopened in my closet in its original ups box. Maybe one day in 2060 (no way I'll live that long) either myself or my non-existent son will take this on atiques roadshow get told it's worth one million space bucks and the can pay off pizza the hut.

I'm still questioning the validity of that SR4 edition. I'm not sure it was as limited as they stated.... and the other thing that hurt it is there were other editions produced as well.

Not to mention the Super Dangerous Wub-Wub Edition that was one step down from the 5,000 print-run SR4 Game of the Generation Edition had everything the GOGE had except for the individually numbered display case, IIRC. So unless you wanted a little glass case with a number on it, you could opt for the SDWWE instead.

 
Need some CAG-vincing...

I can't justify dropping another $20 to upgrade to the CE version of Bloodborne. A steelbook, soundtrack and artbook doesn't seem worth the extra 20 bones.  Maybe it is because the Black Armor version (steelbook & soundtrack) of Dark Souls II was the same cost as the standard version.  Am I being crazy? I am sure I will make my decision after the thing sells out...

if you don't want it don't buy it, i think $20 is a good price for what is included but I have no interest in the game anyway so not buying any version

I'm debating the same thing. I figure worst case scenario I could just dump all that stuff on eBay if it ends up being super easy to find and then buy the bonuses once the CE gets a massive price drop. I almost made the mistake of buying the Dark Souls 2 CE at $120 msrp because I was worried the statue would be hard to find. Part of me thinks "all of that stuff would be so cool to display" but displaying steelbooks isn't my thing anyway, so I'll most likely pass.

Before anyone goes around with their Claptrap relying on that court ruling, it me good to point out that that was the Massachusets STATE Supreme Court that ruled in that case - which has no weight of precedent in any other state.
