Given past Best Buy practice, I think it's very unlikely they will open preorders again. Gamestop and Amazon may have cancellations between a week and a few days just before release.

if you can't check this thread a few times a day the second best option is probably http://www.nowinstock.net/ find the item on amazon you want (claptrap in this case) and put it on there to alert you on your phone.

the biggest problem usually is that it can be maybe an hour before that website figures it out and sends you the email, and by then the item is sold out again. its almost 100% though that all the retailers will have stock closer to 24 hours before release, as they start precharging credit cards and some will fail especially on a $400 item.

Would have love to save myself $80 if I didn't miss it. At least I still got one from Amazon coming. I should have checked this site before heading to work.

 
The lamp is cool. Impractical, but cool. Don't regret paying full price (I LOVED the game, stupidly bizarre end boss and all.

Also, some of the best CE item box art this gen IMO.

I locked in a X1 claptrap while I could, still not sure if I'll keep it. Wanted the PS4 version, vastly prefer the game on PC.
 
Don't worry guys, now that I got my order locked in at BB, I am gonna cancel my Digital River order.  

 
I tried an OMS at Best Buy tonight for Claptrap on XB1. We tried ship to home and also store pickup and it was NOT HAPPENING. 

 
"Prototype" ... just saying, it's happened before. And that is tiny for an extra $300+ dollars (lithographs are printed pictures ... doubt they have much value beyond what they cost to print in this case)

 
That video sold me, it's probably the coolest item I've seen in a special edition of a game in a long time. I'm so tired of statues and art books, I hope other developers take note and start making more complex items to offer there true fans. There are people out there that will pay for them (I'm one of them).

The claptrap looks cool, but for me, not worth that 399.99 price tag. Honestly to build that Claptrap from Radio shack components would cost a 1/5 of that price. But 2K is greedy. Definitely glad I didn't buy into the hype.

I got My MGR CE in the mail yesterday and the lamp is very cool and very not broken, but the SteelBook case is a little screwy. It looks like they glued the plastic internals in upside down. Is this a common thing? It doesn't bother me too bad now because I'm oogling the lamp, but I bet it will sooner or later. :)

yea it is the european version. It been sold out for awhile and since nintendo is region locked it wouldnt work in the systems here.

Actually, if you guys want this specific version, it is up on Game.CO.UK and they ship to the US and it is limited to 1 per person. Keep in mind that it won't play on a US 3DS though as it is region locked. Still, it is a nice collectible.

I'm going to cancel my type 0 CE from square also. This close to release and they still have 5,000 left. I'll buy the regular version from best buy and if they happen to get the ce in stock I'll get it from them since I have gcu.
