Your stuck in amazon limbo. I would try to contact support if I was you. I managed to get MH CE one for 60 dollars earlier today from amazon, was a brief 5 mins or so it was up. It's being shipped today too. So yeah, your in limbo.

p.s I also got MM bundle like 3 days ago, I'm in limbo tho because i changed my credit card 10 mins later after order. It happens sometimes.

Just want to note, everytime I've seen CE editions on amazon go out of stock, they always come back in stock day before, day of release, or day after. Although timing is usually brief. Am's being the more common time to snatch them.

It was not traumatic but it did piss me and a lot of people off. I only ordered 1 copy, for myself, no intention to resell. I ordered it day 1 as soon as it was posted on BBY. Two days before release (Wednesday last week) BBY sends cancellation emails.

I along with many others were left without any place to get the LE game unless we wanted to spend $120+ on ebay. If BBY cancelled it a few days after ordered we could have hoped Amazon or GS or whatever had it available again.

So did they need to do this? No of course not, but to me that just shows that BBY will do what it can when it can to go above and beyond to provide amazing customer service.

but they fixed the problem within a few hours.. if it was me I would have just been happy that they put the effort into getting my order back, toysrus, frys, newegg cancel orders all the time with a small apology at best.

I guess if it was only a few hundred errors bestbuy can afford to take the loss, but i think it's stupid.

Well you got me a little worried now.
Are you prime? Because since they charged me for the MM LE the delivery estimate was fev 19 to 21st. I ordered free shipping and I'm not prime.
So basically they used the same estimate for MH4U CE.

I had a instore online order thing. So I called their support line and the dude didn't even need my name or order #. He got everything he needed by the phone # I called. Just confirmed my shipping address. Said I should hear something in 2-4 days or so about a replacement. They might have a couple they kept for replacements, but who knows. I'll be fine with a giftcard I suppose since th damage isn't too bad and the break is clean so I can fix it with some glue. Just kinda bummed that my box came in perfect but Skull Kid rattled in the box. :(

Nah if you have a delivery date you should be fine. I was assuming more on you not having a delivery date, or have a date that's like a month later. Usually those mean your in limbo. I've gotten stuck in amazon limbo a few times, usually it's when you change your info after you order.

Their online chat takes about 2.5 hours to get a person if the queue is around 125. I speak from experience.

I skipped 9 (full) pages of this thread, I assume it was all about recent orders, not about any new CEs correct?

 
Yeah the more I learn about The Order, the more confident I am on its value dropping off like a steep cliff.

I'm not even talking about the length, but the lack of a NG+ or carryover of an upgrades system. There is a Hard difficulty but I learned there wasnt even a trophy associated for completing it.

Which means people will trade this one in immediately after beating it. Trade in values will drop very quickly. Which will create a cascading effect of reducing the game's retail price earlier. This will also affect eBay prices for the CEs.

I dont even think the CEs are in any way limited. Looks like you can still pick them up at a few retailers, which isnt a good sign exactly. eBay is already flooded with CEs.

I'm actually glad they didnt feel the need to tack on shoddy multiplayer mode, because a game like this -- a true singleplayer experience, doesnt need it. But the gameplay and story itself had better be spectacular. If not, then I cant think of any way a game could be designed to be played and traded in so quickly than this one.
 
GOW (the real GOW; i.e. God of War) follows the same fate (i.e. prices drop quickly) for the same reasons. Doesn't mean they aren't great games and that they don't sell well. Seems like people just like to complain about Sony games (i.e. Heavy rain = interactive movie; MGSIV = too many cut scenes; GOW = too many QTE, just button mashing).

I'm not worried about The Order: 1886. I'm sure the game will be fine and I'd rather pay full price for a game I enjoy now then pick it up for $20 later and have it just sit in my backlog. 

I can assure you this game will have more replay value in 5 years then Titanfall.

 
Damn it. My Amazon Mm LE is somewhere with USPS. First, they didn't even bother to do a delivery on Sunday when it was originally scheduled. Now, they don't even have a status update.
 
Got my MM N3DSXL in yesterday from GS -- its amusing to me how many times Nintendo plastered "AC Charger NOT Included" all over the box... its just like a slap in the face.  Yes, I know it is not included, thanks for reminding me how annoying it is that its not!

The defense still isn't strong.

Heavy Rain and GoW? Heavy Rain was one of my favorite games because of the replayability due to impactful choices. I wish there was more DLC for it! GoW had new game+ along with other game modes, such as a challenge mode.

The point remains: at a $60 price tag, this better be the best story ever. Otherwise, it's a price drop buy for most.

I'm going to pick it up eventually, assuming the reviews don't turn me off. Just not at launch for such a high price.

USPS doesn't deliver sundays and monday was a holiday.

You think anyone is gonna get it friday? I have my doubts, mine still hasn't been charged and it doesn't have the same screens as previous preorders, but I guess its not cancellable now. I mean if they ship it 2 day today or overnight tomorrow I guess people will get it friday, but I have a feeling they will slow ship it or ship it out friday which means most of us won't get it till next week :(

Also UPS is having to play catch up since a big chunk of their east coast stuff was down yesterday due to weather (including Kentucky primary hub) so dunno if that will factor into things.

 
My Order 1886 Premium Edition still hasn't shipped from Amazon. The assurance that'll it be here by Friday is getting less and less possible. Hopefully it ships baby the end of the day
 
My Order 1886 CE just shipped from Bestbuy. I'm looking forward to beating it this weekend then trading it in. I get to keep the Steelbook and "statue" for $10 or so more im happy with that no matter how long it takes me to complete it.
 
Got off Amazon chat regarding release day delivery guarantee :

Amazon: Once it is released it will be shipped and delivered the same date,.
So your order will both be shipped and delivered on the Friday 20th.

Is this norm?  They will SHIP and DELIVER same day?  I find it hard to believe since I selected two-day shipping

Amazon internally moves things in their DC's a lot. What that means is that they moved your item to a DC that's close enough that USPS will pick it up overnight and deliver it to you that day. Amazon doesn't mark things as shipped until it hands it off to a third party service

In my experience, not happening. But that may differ for where you live.

They still have tons of Type-0 CEs if you want, as far as I can tell its the same one as the amazon/BBY I thought the SE store ones had a unique steelbook but I don't see it

Code doesn't work on the CE.

 
Just got shipping confirmation from BB for my 1886 CE as well as a text from GameStop for me 1886 PE. That's right, I got both editions of a new IP with a reported 5hr campaign. What can I say, I love a good statue.
