Congrats on getting both. However the game really isn't 5 hours long. The guy that apparently beat it in 5 hours was the same speed runner that beat the new Wolfenstein game in under 6 hours. One of the devs that worked on The Order said it's a 8 to 10 hour game at a steady pace and that the hard mode takes at least 12 hours to beat. The full link to the article is below.

I preordered FF Type-0 because I love the CE contents and never played the game before. From the screenshots and video of the :ps4: gameplay, I'm glad I'm getting it. Looks fun, happy I was able to get a :ps4: CE order in before it sold out at BB.

Just received both of my MM LEs from Amazon and both have creased sides and a rip in the same exact side upper right hand corner. I was going to open one and leave the other sealed for my collection but this has me furious. One little sleeve of bubble wrap in the box obviously won't product these. I'm ready to contact Amazon now to see if I can get a partial refund or something.

Mine had damage to the corner, I chatted with Amazon CS asking for a 20% discount and they countered me with a 25% discount lol

Yeah, they gave me a 25% refund on each one. Still disappointed though that I'll have one in my collection that is in such bad shape.
 
My MM LE and MH4CE finally shipped fol Amazon! At the same package though :( hopefully things won't get messed up!

Finally got my MM LE from Gamestop, and the box was ripped.  Called support, and they said since I bought it as part of a bundle including the console, they couldn't do an exchange, because they didn't have any more consoles in stock, so I would have to just get a refund.   I decided the box wasn't that important to me so I could keep the figure.  Honestly though, a lot more detail on that $10 figure than I imagined.

Just to put in my two cents, I ordered the Game of Thrones Season 4 Blu-ray with release date delivery. I live in Indiana. They finally shipped it today, the day after release, and are shipping it from NJ via FedEx smartpost, so there currently isn't a delivery estimate because of the weather. Basically, I wouldn't count on it.

In my case, I'm hoping they don't make the release date, so that I can complain and get a discount. I'm in no hurry to play The Order. I also don't think they are gonna ship and deliver in one day, but if they do, then that's good, but if not, then let's see the cash

I really don't think so, the statue is huge and when it was revealed at some FF event and they were told something "it looks expensive" and being told that it will be. I can't find where I saw this but I remember keeping up with the reddit thread.

EDIT:

Yoshida warned that the price of the new Collector’s Edition will be a bit high, but that a digital-only version will of course be available.

Mine got delayed because of the weather but it should arrive tomorrow. The first time I pre-order from Gameshit is going to be my last.

I find it crazy they originally tried to ship it on release instead of a few days prior like best buy so it arrives on release.

After missing out on the MM LE game when they were available, I took to eBay and purchased one early on.  It was supposed to arrive by now and it appears that whoever was running the account decided to close up shop and left a bunch of people hanging for the game and some amiibos. I attempted to contact the seller to no avail but it looks like I'll be forced to make a claim.

You guys can continue to shit on GS/BB/AZ but the truth is the MM LE comes in a really poorly designed, flimsy box. It's a miracle more weren't damaged in some fashion.

My wife and I order a crapload of stuff from Amazon, and IME, they rarely use USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex where I live. They use their own delivery drivers in unmarked cars, and IME, whenever I get a game delivered on release day, it's from one of their own drivers.

The artwork on the LE box looks great. I'm displaying my Skull Kid figure from inside the box. The game still comes in an identical case to the standard edition of the game.

I opened my LE with a box cutter, took the game out, took out the statue. Noticed how awesome the box looked, and put Skull Kid back in to display.

I'd be pissed if my box was damaged too.

Don't listen to those level 1 call center guys. Escalate to their supervisor until you get a satisfactory answer. That guy also lied to you. They do replace pieces of their makeshift bundles. If they have stock of either is another story.

 
and I thought we were just stuck with a broken/ripped box .

At least my figure and game wasn't broken . I have heard some reports that others were either ripped and broken or show room quality .

I don't think those of us who ordered The Order 1886 CE on the price error from Best Buy are going to get the actual CE.

Mine shipped and I checked UPS's page and the package is listed as 0.60 lbs.

Uh.. yeah. Hard to believe that CE with a pretty decently sized box and a figure doesn't even weigh a single lb.

That weight doesnt really matter. My 3dsxl weight was 0.10 lb..

To add a little more depth if you are interested, what you are seeing is manifested weight not shipping weight. They have a placeholder weight for all products in their categories/divisions/whatever terminology they use. That way when they get something new they can just copy/paste all the details, a lot of large companies with many like products do that since it requires virtually zero cost and streamlines product uploads.
