damn I really wanted the order CE from BB with gcu but I missed out on that glitch and they had none at my store so i settled for a standard copy.

 
you may wanna swing by your best buy store this weekend I suspect a lot of people are going to return even the glitched CEs since they aren't going to resell for shit and they are available at MSRP at gamestop/amazon.  Dunno if Best Buy though will restock on shelves CEs ordered via mail or if they will return em all to warehouses.

Shows its available also at like 8 Gamestops near me, although again $80 msrp.  You could try posting an ad on craigslist and offering $60-70 and seeing if anyone who got it for ~$52 ($48+tax) bites.

No, I remember doing the math once, dont remember the exact game but it came out better with the 50% bonus by $3 (about 10% more).

If you really are a cheap gamer you'd be doing the math like me on every trade as well, to get actual confirmation, instead of assuming the difference is minuscule and using hyperbole. Although there may some slight variations from game to game, Im sure BB does the math to make sure they dont make a mistake in losing too much money.

The only problem is sometimes the incompetence of the BB employee will be adamant about the bonus and the GCU not stacking when it should.

Also, I am not advocating waiting for a week until there is a bonus from BB. It is simply wishful thinking to get the most value out of the trade. You can check my previous posts on my opinion that this game will drop in value fast so it doesnt make sense to risk waiting for it.
 
Thanks for posting MK X link, I put in an order and for the Amazon import edition which is a completely different figure.  Probably will cancel them both tough, not a huge MK fan and I'm sure by end of the year there will be a GOTY version with all DLCs and crap.

The import figurine looks cooler than the Coarse figurine though I gotta say, but Scorpion is kinda boring 

 
I just opened my Order CE and the statue is pretty nice, detail is great and has a lil heft to it. Galahad is giving me Rick from The Walking Dead vibes though lol The steelbook could be better and it doesn't have the name of the game on the spine which is odd. Overall Im happy with the $50 I spent on it.

Here's the two photos I took I think it's well worth it i didnt order the Plat just the Collector's. If your a steelbook collector the extra 30 alone is worth it with raised title and inside art work. Statue is pretty sturdy and detailed.

So I just got my Order 1886 CE, came pretty dented in one corner. Shame too, since I cannot replace it in-store. None available anywhere where I live. Regardless I'm not too pissed since I only paid $50 as well.

Anyways, guess I better haul ass and beat this game while I can.

Not really on actual NEW in stock items. They may force a bundle, but usually everything is msrp. USED can be priced whatever they feel like, but that is a different type of gouge that Nintendo can not really complain about.

 
Clearly nintendo doesn't give a shit about gamestop price gouging their fans as they supply them with shipments of brand new copies of rare games which gamestop proceeds to gut and sell as used, pricing them over MSRP, a la xenoblade chronicles and fire emblem radiant dawn. :)

Nope and it makes sense when you think about it. Nintendo doesn't have the best relationship with Amazon, the biggest store in the world, so who else do they really have to rely on in terms of American big box sales? Gamestop and Best Buy.

 
What are you guys gonna do for trading in the 1886 CE - disc only, steelbook?  Since either one probably won't have a UPC to scan it'll probably take longer to trade, which kinda sucks.

I am sorta tempted to just keep my 1886 CE unopened and buy and trade a regular copy so I don't have to deal with trade issues

No clue what your store does, but every store i've traded a disc only at just types in the name of the game which unless the person has no hands (I've actually done a trade @ BBY w/ a guy who had no hands), it shouldn't take longer than an extra 10-15 seconds.

If its that much trouble and you own a printer, just print out the upc and slip it in with the disc.

Steelbook for Order 1886 is surprisingly nice, statue isn't bad either. Now I just need to decide if I want to try and rush through the whole game tonight or chance the TIV staying up beyond Saturday...

For those with a Steelbook that plan to play The Order and trade it in, are you just going to trade in the disc by itself? Does BBY knock value off for doing that?

I'm thinking I might try to get through it this weekend and trade then re-buy later on when it gets cheaper.

i'm playing 1886 right now its not too bad but yeah im only ~90 mins in and already up to chapter 4 of a game that only has like 9 chapters i think. there is a lot of walk around few mins, spend few mins in a cutscene and the QTE stuff is annoying. My biggest pet peeve is all the goddamn doors all over the place that I can't open. WHATS BEHIND ALL THESE DOORS

no way this shoulda been a $60 game, $20-30 maybe. the game it reminds me most of frankly is Thief (the newest one) minus the stealth

 
Best Buy does not dock for disc only (I've done it several times with collectors editions)... I'm surprised MKX is still on best buy's website as these editions tend to sell within a couple hours. I placed an order but also have the Amazon Import edition preordered...such important decisions to make...

I'm fighting over this myself... I think the import one looks more like what Scorpion looks like in the games. The Coarse edition had me on the fence since they did a pretty drastic redesign. Initially I thought I didn't like it... my wife pointed out that it seems to be more like an actual scorpion and I started to understand the appeal.

 
Since MKx isnt sold out at Best Buy already it'll be one of those clearance CE, right? I'll lock one in just in case.

I mean i was waiting to pre order for a CE. Then i was waiting for Best Buy to list it. I have no excuse. I do however like the AMZ one a bit more...it looks as if it comes with more extras.
