Dam, wish I went ahead and preordered the Bloodborne CE on Gamestop last night while they were still in stock was waiting to see if Best Buy would get some up today. Probably be some popping up at some point one day.

Best Buy set aside the wrong version of Bloodborne for me. Thankfully, they hadn't put the CE out on the floor yet, so they were able to correct their error.

Debating buying The Order Collector's Edition off of Amazon and just returning my CE from BB.

I wonder if that's how some are finding them in stock - that's why I went early. I could totally see them pulling the standard and selling the CE to anyone who asked for it. They did have the CE set aside for me, though.

 
I think the issue is that the CE and regular edition have very similar covers, so the employees get confused if they don't check the actual item number.

Unless you're Elite Plus, you're likely out of the return period. If you are, you're still good.

 
picked up my bloodborne CE from bestbuy just now, one of the corners is noticeably smashed...sigh...

this used to bother me a lot more, but I guess I'm less sensitive to it now (since it happens so damn often)

If it makes you feel any better, mine was the same. It's not AWFUL, but I'd sure prefer it look better. I only ordered it for in-store pickup because I was scared they'd ship it in a bag and it would arrive beat-up. I guess in-store pickup isn't much safer. I may need to start ordering two of these CEs from Best Buy just to increase my odds.

Ended up cancelling my claptrap Edition yesterday (probably one of the ones that went up earlier), after watching unboxings and weighing the cost -- I decided I'd get more enjoyment from spending that $ on several different CEs and other items I've been looking for rather than getting the claptrap CE.  True, I'll miss out on chasing my son around with an awesome robot, but I bet Gearbox goes and sells the robot separately down the road anyway.  Besides, I missed out on the loot crate edition before, so figured I'll just pass on the Borderlands CEs altogether... now those high-end Borderlands statues... THOSE got me pacing!

Looking back at my previous CE purchases, condition wise, shipping somehow has been safer than in-store pick ups...I haven't opened my copy yet, scared to see how much damage it did inside...

 
IGN just posted an unboxing for the Bloodborne Collectors Edition. After seeing it, Im definitely going to return it once it comes in the mail, and just get the regular edition. Box it comes in doesnt even have the title on the spine. Lame.

I just got a email for BB that my Batmobile CE release date changed to 6/23/15.    Also my claptrap edtion also shipped from BB today and should be here tomorrow.
