Got my Best Buy claptrap CE, its a lot smaller than I thought it would be, about 6 lbs. Claptrap is cool, the game comes on a single disc with no DLC codes or anything inside a pretty decent steelbook. Unfortunately there is no regular game case so it makes it a little harder to trade in, if you wanted to do that.

Just gonna keep mine as a set i think, I'd rather play BL2 and pre on my PC.

I'm under the impression that not all of the DLC for TPS is out yet, how are you going to receive the remaining DLC from the SP?

Also, from what a lot of people on here say, Best Buy will take a caseless game without diminishing its value.

Definitely didn't get an email from either retailer. Its odd that Brian on the forum said emails were sent out, yet a bunch of people didn't get it.

I'm just gonna shoot Amazon an email and see if I can snag one, or like get like $5 credit instead. The DLC itself is kinda dumb so I don't really care this time around.

I did a BBY.com order for in store pickup, so nothing printed on the pick up confirmation.

I just checked and I got my code from Amazon in my e-mail. I pre-ordered it like 3 weeks ago too when I got a PS4 finally.

I don't work again for over a week, but you might want to just give a store a call and give them the SKU and they should be able to at least check for you over the phone. You will still have to go in store to place the order though if they do have it available.

i'd probably agree its not really worth $320 (or $400) but meh what the heck its fun remote controlling claptrap around, my dog is scared of it.

I didn't know you could do that instore. Last time I was trying to get the deluxe edition of dragon age instore since they weren't available online for some reason. A store really far from me had it and thought can I actually call and have them ship the game from that store to me but never tried. Thanks for mentioning it I think it's pretty cool

Haha! I just got mine and opened it up. One of my dogs freaked out and hid in the corner - the other was inquisitive but wouldn't come close to it. It's fallen over plenty of times (painful for the price) but it seems to just freak out when hits a gap in the tile. I'll have to try it at work where there's more room.

 
I'm loving the Claptrap. My only (small) gripe is I was hoping you could choose which phrase he said, instead it's random. I led him to the stairs, but then had to hit the phrase button like 20 times before he said "Stairs!? Noooooooooooooooooo!"
 
Amazon just gave me $10 promo for missing delivery date on the Bloodborne CE. I didn't ask for it so should be available to all Prime members who pre-ordered.

Thanks SO much for mentioning this! I had to make a run to BBY anyways to price match a Luigi Wii U Remote and decided to try my luck and was also able to do an OMS order for Bloodborne CE at Customer Service. Mine should arrive to the store by 4/01 for me to pick up!

I like how everyone bought claptrap editions to "terrorize my dog" or "chase the kid around the house" as justification for $400 spent.

Dam, maybe I should of did in-store pickup XD to get it that much sooner. Oh well, I still have some games I still need to finish while waiting. Great to see others were able to get their orders in as well that missed out on it ^_^.

 
This was the response I got from bestbuy over the giant store pick up sticker over my bloodborne ce and the dent.  And allegedly they say my borderlands clap trap will be here on the 30th.

I wouldn't call it "justification" - it's just an observation of what people/dog reaction has been. People got their collector editions and posted their impressions in a collector's edition thread. If it makes you happy (and the countless other bitter people in this thread), I wasted $400. I'm also going to waste some money on an Apple Watch and a few more collector editions while I'm at it. It's not your money - why do you care?

I have mixed results with the phone reps when I call in and let them know I'm Elite +. Some have been horrible, others have been surprisingly good. There is no consistency with it, that's for certain.

If you get value out of it, then it's money well spent for you. Others, it's not as easy with cashflow as some on here, so they think it's a waste. Though, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they tend to stink when they're used.

I found putting my email in a survey tends to work best. I had one rep who solved 90% of the problems for me with GCU at the time. She got about a year of problems worked out.

 
Seems like some people are just jealous that they didn't get one. Maybe their Mom or Wife told them, they weren't aloud to buy it. Amazon has had it in stock for the last 12 hours, but I can't bring my self to pull the trigger. It's not about the money though, I've just never been a Borderlands fan.

both my wife and mom told me i can't buy one but i VPN'd through a proxy server firewall while they were asleep and paid for it with bitcoins, who's the loser now

still nothing from amazon on bloodborne CE preorder DLC codes, i guess anyone who ordered before january didn't get one.  don't wanna bother calling in for a stupid hat DLC, anyone had luck emailing them?

next big release is mortal kombat x in a bit under 3 weeks (april 14th) i'm still a bit confused what exactly the kombat pass gets you but i think i'll just stick with the base game.  crazy you can still buy the CE at best buy, I think this is gonna be order 1886 again with a ton of CEs up for sale at deep discounts post launch.

Just calling it like I see it. No one is posting "wow this turned out to be a really cool set" or "I'm sure glad I picked up the Handsome Collection". The posts pretty much speak for themselves.

Hmm our basement is the kids playroom and in-home theater. So your right on my days off, I do spend most of my time there with them.

Wasn't the last CE for MK9 overly available? I think it was Gamestop that had it cheap, with the fight stick or bookends?

What game are you talking about? The longest BL Handsome Collection Claptrap Edition has been in stock was the hour or so on Monday.

 
Yeah, I was considering it last night and this morning, but just couldn't pull the trigger for $400.  It just seems overpriced.  $250 woulda been worth it.  I was definitely available a long time today, at least the PS4 version.

People still want it. 250 would have been a big steal considering the quality of the claptrap and lithographs, 300-350 would have been fair priced. I can see people buying this thing now that its official that the robot isn't a complete piece of shit.
