So I just realized I ordered the PS4 version of Statue CE for Batman. Think if I call up support for Best Buy they might be able to change it to the Xbox One version?

 
If there is anyone in RI, I have a PS4 and XB1 Borderlands that I will sell at cost. I can also ship. I tried canceling my order last week but the rep told me the order wasn't showing up on their end and that I shouldn't worry about it. Then a big box showed up at my door on Friday.

nope they will have to cancel the ps4 order and reorder the xbox one version instead but since they are sold out they cant do that.

 
So I just got an e-mail from Best Buy that my 10th Anniversary Edition of The Show is ready for pickup. However, since the game doesn't actually release until tomorrow, would it be worth my time to drive out there or do these messages sometimes get sent a day early and I should just wait until after work tomorrow?

Just putting it out there for the next couple days for 626 CAGs that I have an extra claptrap edition I'll sell at cost before I return to GameStop. No profit on my side.

Anyone know what the trade-in value for The Show is likely to be? I want the steelbook but won't get around to playing the game anytime soon, so I'm trying to figure how much just the steelbook will cost me.

probably $32-35, that seems to be the new base TIV for 2-3 weeks, fast moving games (GTA5) stay at that whereas other games (1886) drop fast. I dunno where MLB will end up.

re: Rainbow 6, i'd stay away. I played in the alpha on PC and it was AWFUL, like a shitshow version of Hardline. Seriously terrible graphics and gameplay. Maybe they will polish it up but I doubt it.

I got the 10/27 date change for Halo 5 too, its on the BBY $10 preorder program. Not sure if I want the $100 LE or the $250 CE, I haven't seen pictures yet anywhere what the statues look like. I suspect the Halo 5 CE will be overproduced and go on sale soon after like 1886, but it would be nice to see what it looks like.

Huh? It's a baseball game lol. You pop it in play a quick game can even use quick count if you wanted be done and go back to whatever other game you are on.

I wonder if Ubisoft will do what they did last time with AC Unity and Far Cry 4, where they can offer the steelbook for separate purchase or with their own exclusive CE, also like they did with AC U and FC4.

 
The Dark Souls 2 PC CE that was $23.87 that was posted a few days ago came in for me today. Wish it was in a little better condition but for the price I guess I'll accept it. Luckily all the damage is on the backside so it is somewhat okay for displaying. They put a sticker on it >< going to just leave it on though. Hope everyone gets theirs in better condition than mine.

I wouldn't expect the Halo CE/LE to go on sale nearly as quickly as The Order 1886 has. The Order is definitely a special situation where a game with a ton of potential ended up being an astounding stinker. Halo CE's and such have ended up being plentiful and going for cheap eventually, but definitely not as fast as The Order. No way. That was just an amazingly fast plummet.

Yeah, I'm going to open it up ^^ always do with my CEs but I like displaying the box next to them but will probably just store this box away and display the statue since I'm running out of room.

 
2 questions: 1. If I pre-ordered MGS V: PP online at Best buy, is it possible to later get it changed to in-store pickup? 2. If they add any other pre-order bonuses, will I automatically be included/updated, like say a $10 GC?

1) Nope.

2) It may not update an existing order, though if they do make a post about a $10 GC being for all versions, screen cap it/print it and if you don't get one at time of release, email/call them about it.

It just blows my god damn mind that they can't automatically do the pre-order bonuses for existing orders. You'd think they'd be "delighted" to make sure those early pre-order'ers are happy as fucking clams.

I agree 100% about it making no sense about fixing pre-orders with bonuses that show up after the pre-order is made, like the Witcher 3 steelbook for CE orders (double your steelbook, double your fun).

Their forum reps are pretty quick about fixing things, though they wouldn't have to if everything was fixed right the first time.

For baseball games or any other sports games for that matter, I'm more interested in the season or franchise modes. That's what I would be keeping the game for if I were to keep the game. For games that you pop in and play a quick game with, I've got plenty of FPS, shmups, and indies to keep me busy.
 
One more day until the show 2015 . I want to check out of the anniversary edition stuff. I wonder how long it will take for the controller skins to arrive in the mail? I would say probably a month maybe .
 
Just received my claptrap for PS4 from Amazon that I ordered on Saturday. It's still sealed in the box used to ship to Amazon, with a do not sell before 3/24 sticker on the outside. Amazon shipped it inside another slightly bigger box with some paper padding. Nice!
