Are you saying just the game inside will be the US version? Has there been any discussion anywhere about whether the outer box will be specific to the US or if it's just a generic CE box that will be shared in both Europe and NA? My understanding is that it's the "import" version because it is the actual European CE with just the US version of the game/case substituted for the European version.

 
Since this thread has become more interesting with MK talk (when is it not interesting when you don't talk all things Mortal Kombat), I'm surprised that certain Best Buys will be holding midnight launches for MKX.

Gamestop should be holding MKX tournaments though. I won at my local Gamestop when they hosted their MK9 midnight launch. Scored a $50 gift card, a random gutted PS2 game (the hell), some random swag, a bunch of penny guides, and my name up on my store's white board for a whole month announcing my awesomeness. Oddly, the random raffle winner scored everything I got except they swapped my gift card with a free copy of MK9. So the lady ended up getting an even better deal than me without lifting a finger (wat). To add insult, she wasn't even a gamer and was just there to hang out with her boyfriend who I had beaten in the second round T.T

Nice I'm gonna have to check if there's stuff like that going on in Vegas. So excited about MK so many unlockables and content. Still kind of disappointed with the DLC price though.

Yes, that is all I am saying. The game inside is most definitely the US version, which is what kingwormer appeared to be concerned with. I have no idea about the outer box. My guess is that they'd still need to have the ESRB rating info on the box. There's probably no real info available to answer that question.

 
So I paid for Heavensward from the SE store with Paypal, but I can't remember if they've actually taken the money yet. I know it's now possible to do pre-orders through paypal without immediate payment, but I just can't remember if that's how they are doing things. I just want to make sure that I get my money back if they already have it. :3

And now I can't find any reference to it in either of my Paypal accounts. It also seems that they don't let you see how you paid for something in your order history--because that would make too much sense. Now I have no idea what I've done here haha.

I think they processed it as a subscription for some reason. I just checked mine, and there's no purchase from S-E in my history, but it do have a preapproved payment listed under paypal for Pepitastore on the date I pre-ordered.

 
Shit, I just noticed that if you redeemed the pre-order code you cant cancel from the SE store apparently. I didn't even use it, I just clicked it to see if my order was even valid (Since I never got a confirmation till like hours later)

That art book looks pretty amazing ... statue is so-so, but the Steelbook is nice and seems like a decent value now that it's buy to play.

Just saw the same thing. It states when you "unlock it" which is kind of lame though I can probably pass the CE from SE down to a friend worse case.

You did. BB had preorders open many months ago, sold out and never reopened them. I suppose they may open them up again given that there were probably a lot of cancellations and/or declined cards given the long delay in release.

I cancelled my U.S. amazon pre-order once a CAG informed me of Amazon DE having it for about $118 shipped. I'm getting the coarse at BBY, so the import is just for the goodies incase the game/dlc doesn't work in the U.S. As of yesterday they were still instock but the price has creeped up a little. Still cheaper than the crazy $180 U.S. price. For the life of me I do not know why their foreign version is much cheaper considering its the same contents and being shipped across the world.

 
The console version of ESO Imperial Edition is the same as the PC version released last year with just a different outer sleeve correct?

Have these Xbox One CE exclusives (cloth map, card decks) always been advertised?

I placed my PO so long ago at BB that I don't remember there being any difference at the time.

It pisses me off that now for the same price, one CE comes with more items, and I could have PO'ed that one had I known.

 
I have that elder scrolls on Preorder on amazon. I think I am going to cancel it through I would rather have the PC version and it is sold out.

If you're into Elder Scrolls art and lore, I'd recommend getting The Heroes Guide to the Elder Scrolls Online. It's a Bethesda Store exclusive. It might be sold out by now, but it was originally $100. I think I paid ~$50 around Black Friday. Well worth it.

Not when they first became available but around Gamescom in August it became known.

This also proves the BB Steelbook is the same artwork as the one in the CE.

yeah, the back art of the bb steelbook is a skull, instead of that girl. even the front art is different, he is riding a horse on the bb steelbook. the CE steelbook shows him fighting in the grassfield. the statue looks like a pos tho

Actually, I'm even more confused. I thought the CE came with the Triss/Yennifer steelbook. What comes with what? The video shows the Ciri steelbook.

Lol wtf, exclusive CE items? I have both preordered on Amazon but PS4 is my main console.

Might just cancel both now and hope the game fails for making stupid choices like this again

The guy in the vid thinks the statue is nice, it certainly doesn't look like it to me.

Any statue experts care to chime in? Would have definitely kept my preorder if it were $100, but $150...

I'm really considering canceling mine too. I only have the PS4 ordered, cause I don't even plan on getting an Xbone. I didn't know the CE had different contents til today. The Best Buy listings for the two mentions no differences, even. The Amazon listing shows the difference in the picture, but mentions nowhere else.
