Thanks so much for the heads up. I ordered the HK steelbook edition so I'll investigate. All I have found online though are people with the PSN versions that are locked to the region based on the PSN store they bought from.

Has anyone confirmed the physical discs lock to a certain region? I'd love to see some evidence as I'll likely have to trade and rebuy if that's the case.

 
I haven't seen any real confirmations that disc versions are region locked but I don't see why it wouldn't be true too.  I think though the "import" version from amazon is US region locked.  Not sure if PC version is region MP-server locked though.

The reason amazon is already discounting the CE is that they made 70k of each version, there are going to be TONS AND TONS of extras.  It was up for preorder at amazon / Gamestop / Best Buy for months.  If you haven't bought it already I'd just wait, you'll be able to pick it up for $50-90 from AWD and clearance sales in a few months.  Its pretty much Titanfall, Assassins creed CE, etc all over.

I just contacted Amazon to get the difference in the discounted price for the Coarse edition....especially considering i haven't even received MKX yet! They did refund me the 10 dollars and whatever change on a gift card

Just wondering if anyone still happens to have a spare x1 version of the FF type-O CE? Or would want to trade for a PS4 copy? (SE store still has PS4 available, but no X1).  Shoot me a PM if so.

Really curious what the Halo 5 CE is going to be like as well -- I mean, @$250 its got to be bigger and better than the Halo Reach Legendary CE right? (And that thing was pretty sweet IMHO).

Agreed I do really like my reach CE and I hope the one for 5 is equal to or better at that price. I preordered one of each CE so I can decide once the curtain is pulled back on them.
 
Anyone else's Mortal kombat x import edition codes not working?

EDIT: Never mind. Seems my O's are Q's and my codes were printed weirdly. (The line on the Q's were unnoticeably small.)

Managed to pick up an XB1 Coarse in store today since my Online order hasn't shipped yet. And it just now switched to preparing to ship. If anyone wants one I'll sell it at cost (GCU cost) including taxes and shipping
 
So is the import edition really region locked? I was wondering if I can play it on a US account and redeem the codes on a US account

DLC is absolutely region locked but you can create a PSN account for the region of the game and register the DLC and it will still work locally I believe.

The region lock on the game is specifically multiplayer but I haven't seen anyone confirm that the disc are region locked. The digital copy multiplayer is again absolutely region locked to the region it was purchased from.

 
Wait, so if I was to buy the MKX import CE through the US amazon website. It would be region locked still? I mean, i get that it says 'imported' but i just thought it meant the statue was imported and that the game would be fine to download the extra characters via the US ps store.

Multiplayer is only region locked if youre playing on PS4.If you're buying the "import edition" from US Amazon it comes with a NA game. No idea why they are calling it import instead of just an Amazon exclusive.

Just recieved my import Kollector's Edition of Mortal Kombat X from amazon to my surprise only the statue and comic were inside of the box!

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I am curious if others have gotten no game in the box.

I'm pretty sure the Goro DLC is included; it's advertised on the product box

Have we calmed down all the other hysteria with this game? Again I haven't opened it but it is my understanding it's the U.S. version of the game (so you wan't get placed on European match making servers) and the DLC is U.S. based as well.

 
I got my Mortal Kombat X Course and Import editions in.  Amazon sent me 2 goro DLC codes by email, and the Course one had a Goro insert in it too.  Not sure about the Import, as I'm not opening it.

Also got in my Claptrap in a box edition from amazon as well, from one of the restocks, and two of the top corners were ripped all to shit on the box.  Got on the chat, and explained to the guy it was limited, and I know I can't get another, but asked what he could do.  Got 25% off, which ended up being 110 bucks.  So not too bad of a deal.

Import includes the Goro code as well.
 
Bought both X1 and PS4 Amazon US "import" KE from amz.uk for $120 each. Kombat Pack/season pass and Goro not included in the UK version from reading reviews. Now I'm more fuck since multiplayer is region-locked http://gamerant.com/mortal-kombat-x-region-lock/

​Thought X1 and PS4 are region free. First time buying non US version, never again. Estimated delivery was 4/20-24, now its 5/1 after already shipped and shipping company is DHL. fuck fuck fuck

I open everything I buy. I buy CE 's for games I really like, but never to just collect and stay boxed for future sales, etc. To each his own though. I buy masterpiece Transformers also which get pricey, but they get opened and displayed on an Ikea glass display enclosure.

 
Yea, I used to leave everything sealed but recently I have been telling myself that by leaving it sealed I'm basically just paying $80-$150 for cardboard to display and that I might as well just be buying empty boxes since it'd be cheaper to display.

Yeah I open all mine and display them.  Artists don't go through all this work of creating something awesome for it to sit in the box.  To be honest the majority of the time I throw the box out.  I'

 
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Collectors Edition came back in stock at the Square Enix store. I think you need to use the link they emailed to add it directly to cart. I'm not seeing it with a search...

edit:sorry if this doesn't work for everyone. It's not clear if you HAD to be signed up for the waiting list or if you just need the link... The email states it's first come, first served...

Agreed.

KH HD 2.5 CE appears to be OOS. I got that notification on a secondary e-mail account (honestly don't think I've ever used that at the square store but whatever) and when I clicked the link it said items couldn't be added to my card because they are out of inventory.

Mine came in two boxes -- one big box addressed from Amazon to me and then a smaller one addressed from WB Games to Amazon. Both sealed, but my MKX box was not. Had all of the contents in it. I also got two Goro codes -- one inside my Import Edition and one via email.

For those who ordered the Import edition and opened it, what number did you get on your steel card? I got 2,459.

My situation was the same. The game box came inside the manufacturer shipping box (i.e. WB ---> Amazon) and that was shipped inside a larger amazon box.

I was just asking if the actual product box was sealed, and thanks for confirming it wasn't. Would be hesitant buying any that may be returns as stuff could be poached.

i didnt know these existed.. is this the only place to get these?

Edit: well looks like it comes out to $74 shipped for me... idk if i should... but i dont have the game or ost digitally either so this seems alright. essentially paying 50 for 3 heavy weight vinyls and a nice jacket for them is not bad.

Yes, this is VERY nice of them.

Also, IIRC when I added a $1 DLC item my FF Type-0 HD CE had free shipping so you were probably off by one cent from free shipping

 
Anybody having issues logging into the Square Enix website at the moment? Even with an accoutn made past 2/17, it's stating I'm not in the system. Just had my password sent back to me and it's the same one I've been trying.

Least the CE I wanted already sold out otherwise I would probably be freaking out.
